United looked what they are - a powerful counter attacking team.

Not being funny, but United wont win 5-nil away against any team in the top flight of English footy.

Neither will Chelsea and I doubt Arsenal and City will either.

Leverkusen were incompetent. Just like Schalke. I actually now suspect Chelsea may actually be ****e since we have been ****ed twice by Basel but Schalke just rolled over for us.

I think the Germans are fostering a football culture that benefits their national side but their clubs are pretty lightweight and beatable - outside of a monstrous Bayern team and Dortmund are also a good side. All the others are Aston Villa with a high line.

I am pretty sure someone will bury Pep's Bayern this season in the CL playing straight up counter attacking footy. I even think Chelsea could do it. But Real would take them to the cleaners for certain.

These are the kind of games and wins arsenal need to put together. Could have been tricky at Cardiff, it was tight and tense until the second goal.
