It's also heartening that City managed to get the same or better points totals than half the qualifiers for the knockout stages. In fact out of the 16 qualifiers City had better points and/or goal difference than 7 of them.

This is City's best season for nearly four decades. In fact it could well end up being City's best season ever if we manage to win the league and something else. I'm disappointed at exiting the Champions League but I'm not devastated.

Last night is clear proof that pl>>>la liga.. De Gea was the best keeper in la liga. But has got us knocked out of the cl and looks to have zero presence and reminds m of torres.. Once his head goes down he is done.

We need to look at bringing in a right back (silva twins injured to much) evra is a liability nowdays. I think cleverly could be the man for the midfield just look at the performances since Kevin davies did him at Bolton.

Other then possibly sneidjer I don't see anyone who can add much. Lindegard can take over from de gea. We will win the league again this year but it is
humiliating to go out specially since we have been in the last 3 out of 4 finals.

Why are city fans acting as if they expected to not make he second round now? Sure the group was fairly tough but many expected them to walk Napoli at home. You have players in there with european experience...
