I’ll admit that Cole has had a poor season, but in no way is Evra better. Cole was slightly exposed due the nature of AVB’s tactics, however, since his departure Cole performances has increased greatly and there is definitely a correlation there. I am still no sold on Evra’s defense ability and never will be, gets caught out to much but makes it up for his attacking ability.

If we are talking about pure LB defending ability against a wide man, Clichy is the best followed by Cole. Jose Enrique is seriously better than Evra,
