None of those players started the game and Aguero was the only one that played any part. It was as much of a 2nd string team as Arsenal's was, if not more.

I think I rate Dzeko more highly than Aguero at the moment. He seems to have developed a bit of pace all of a sudden and is industrious and effective. Other than that you're 100% right.

It's ****e news like you say he's been our best player by far over the last two seasons. Lets hope Gerrard can get fit and hopefully stay fit for a few months or that Spearo can do a job.

Of course allowances have to be made for the fact that Man City have a very large transfer budget while Arsenal's transfer budget consists of whatever Wenger can find down the back of his sofa. Man City's first team played Liverpool on the weekend. Only one of those players started on Tuesday and that was Nasri. It's not my fault that your best midfielder that your manager would shit chips to keep is a borderline reserve player on our squad.

In any case if you're going to count Aguero as a first team player then you had Vermaelon, Arse-Shavin and Gervinho who came on as subs. City played Hargreaves, Zabaleta, Pantillimon, Onouha, Kolo Toure, Kolorov and Savic, none of whom are regular first team players along with perennial sub Johnson and the largely absent De Jong. Nine players who haven't been getting regular first team football. Arse started Ping Pong, Koscielny and Benayoun who are all regular starters on the first team.

So yeah, if Arse were playing their reserves then City were playing their reserves as well.

You called Frimpong and Benayoun "regular starters"? Frimpong played maybe 2 games at the start of the season. Benayoun has never started a game.

Saying City started just as much or even more a reserve team is just plain ****** and no one except your fellow fans will think about agreeing with. The gulf in overall experience and in playing time this season was huge.
