most football experts have played the game, only guy who i dont think has played and talks a good game, is that italian guy, who used to be on ESPN, Marcotti maybe, theres a couple others on bt sport.

Michael Owen is a good commentator too, i listen to him has his played, i try listen to people whos played, i think they will know more then somebody whos like GIROUD IS ****, and then he keeps ****ing them in.

There are plenty of ex pro's who talk absolute drivel. Hence why most ex English players are pundits and not managers. I'm not saying I know better than anyone, but i think it's fair to debate against what ex pros say.
