              Fabio is a tactician and would need his ideas to take hold.

              There is a reason why a lot of the big dogs steer clear of International footy because their ideas will take a while to take hold.

              I think Mourinho and Benitez would make good national coaches as their ideas can be transmitted fairly quickly to most players and especially players who might not be that talented.

              If Arsene Wenger was to become England manager for example I doubt England would even qualify for tournaments. Our players are too basic.

              If Mourinho told them never to commit more than 4 players ahead of the ball they would accept that. If he told the centre backs to always stay goalside of a striker from a goalkick they would get that too. His natural philosophy is that the team that makes the least mistakes wins. I think that is still fundamentally the soundest strategy at International level unless you really have a great team. Costa Rica, Algeria, United States, Nigeria, Greece............all these teams are pony. Some of 'em of getting to a quarter final of a World Cup.

                    Round of 16 - Chile

                    Quarter finals - Colombia

                    Semi finals - Germany or France

                    Finals - Argentina or Holland

                    Plenty of chances of an upset along that path.

                      Germany beating them wouldn't be an upset. I can see them annihilating Brazil. If Brazil even get that far. Chile and Colombia are tricky games.
