That Invincible team had a terrible title defence as well.

I accept Man U as the big dogs of my lifetime watching footy.

Chelsea are the closest to them because we have retained a title. Won a European cup.

None of us will live to see Arsenal do either.

Bloke is a good footballer. Lost in one of football's backwaters.
Better than half of the ****e we've currently got in midfield.

You'll never live to see your team go a league season unbeaten or play as beautifully as that Arsenal side did....no matter how many petro-dollars you pump into your bum club.

          What does it matter?

          You drew 12 games.

That is not impressive. That actually indicates the team were risk averse.

I don't really think that team is more better than the Arsenal team that the league two seasons prior.

Chelsea won the league with 95 points and defended it with 91 points. I actually don't think Chelsea will ever do that again, tbh.

          But Arsenal certainly will not.

Defo. He is a good footballer. Just a bit slow.

In a functional team he would be good.

Dunno, what Dirk sees to be fair. Huddlestone is not the sort of player you can ridicule. He is somewhat of a waste talent.

I used to think Huddlestone was good too but then I realised he actually isn't. He was way too pedestrian for a CM.
I recall some fellow spurs fans said he reminded them of Hoddle. B*tch please...

He scored a few beauts though and had a great shot technique.

Using meaningless stats as indicators is something a clueless Yank or Ashley would do.

We ended up drawing that many games because we'd already pissed the league and took our foot off the gas.

What does it matter? It matters that in the annals of English football that Arsenal team will be remembered fondly and no Chelsea team will ever be remembered for anything other than the wrong reasons.

The Dutch never won the World Cup but history remembers them fondly.

Whereas the Greece side that won Euro 04.....Chelsea are like the Greece of English football. Or should I say the "grease". Just a greasy slimy scumbag club with similar type fans.

Not really.. I didnt even realise that was the case..

United often had the title sewn up with 6-7 games to go and as a result went easy/blooded some youth and ended up losing or drawing a lot of there last few games

Exactly. No one cares. When you think Chelsea, you think Abramovich and his petro-dollars. Manufactured success. Mourinho. Billions spent. **** football.
