...Neither Aikman nor Bradshaw is in anyone's top five list so your kind of helping the arguement against Brady being on there. He is not top five all time by any ****ing stretch and anyone who thinks that is definitely not worth arguing with.

Bradshaw has 2 more career touchdowns than interceptions, and has a 70% passer rating.
Its about Rings and statistics, and Im assuming that Brady's stats will continue to be great for the next few years and he will win at LEAST 1 more superbowl.

My argument is that when his career is over he will be one of the greatest quarterbacks ever.

I factor superbowl rings and statistics into considering who is the best ever.

....The point is, you were using Brady's 3 super bowl wins as some sort of affirmation when Bradshaw clearly proves that theory wrong. Aikman and Staubach had excellent career stats and Aikman was one of the highest rated playoff and superbowl QB's ever.

**** this superbowl bull ****. When was the last time a QB got to and won the Superbowl by himself? Records, Player Stats and how the particular position carried the team or how important the player was to the team do count in this argument. Marino, Favre. case closed.

so your saying that should not be factored in to who is the greatest qb ever?

Theres no way you can actully consider Brett Farve as one of the best quarterbacks ever.
Marino had good stats, but the guy just wasnt a winner.
When I look at this question I think about starting a franchise or being in the superbowl and picking a qb.
Those are not the guys I would pick.

...It's not the end all be all as Bradshaw, Aikman, and Staubach can attest to. Hell, you have guys like Trent Dilfer and Doug Williams with Superbowl wins to their credit.

You are talking wins. Points win games the best QB should have provided his team with the most points possible to be considered the greatest right.Whos got more TD's Than Favre? Marino?
Marino is not a winner. He did every humanly thing possilbe to win his stats prove that. There are 10 other guys on the field when you gonna get that through your thick skull. Teams win superbowls. we are arguing best at one position.
                      Right?
