Brady is a master at stepping up in the pocket, but I rarely see him move outside the pocket to buy time.

People look at Bulger with all of his weapons and wonder why he's having such a down year. It's because his line is a mess, and every time he drops back he has to run for his life. Switch Brady with Bulger and the Pats are probably still undefeated.
Doesn't matter what you say obviously people are star struck. Brady is a master at the position no doubt, That doesn't mean he's the most talented or over all best ever or even in the top five. They did a thread like this last year and nobody put Brady in the top ten. Now he's god, and always has been. He is an excellent qb. his best attirbute however is his level head under stress. Not his arm. not his field generalsm, not his athletisism. Thats whats real. The top qb's all time are also cool under pressure, but have the Physical talent of a Marino, Montana, Elway. **** the rings the Patriots won the rings not Brady. The QB is being examined in this thread and Brady is not an all time great.

Yeah, soooo you just lost your credibility with that argument.

Anyways, Brady does have a very good O line, but the reason they are so good is because there plays are planned out and the O line is aware of what Brady can and cannot do. They create a pocket for him to operate, which is why he is so effective.
Keep in mind that guys like Manning, Marino and Unitas are/were the same way.

Have you ever seen Brady throw the ball??
He has a cannon, a far better arm than Montana or Elway, who were never able to throw the ball 60+ yards.

So if you say **** the rings the 49'ers won the rings not Montana, then you must think that Farve and Marino (statistically the best QB's in terms of yards, touchdowns and completions) are the best ever.
your argugment against Brady also should be applied to guys like Young, Montana and Elway.

Not to mention he did this with NO pro bowl wide recievers.
Why is Joe Montana the greatest QB of all time?
          He won the most championships.

Lets take this for what its worth, remove your obvious bias, and then take it from there.

....Bradshaw got four, Aikman three, Staubach two, and none of those guys are on the top five list either. Conversely, Marino has none and his is on just about everyones top five list.

Also, Brady is a 2 time Superbowl MVP.

...Elway not able to throw the ball 60 yards? Are you ****ing kidding me? He had one of the strongest arms in the history of the game. WTF??? Do you have him confused with someone else perhaps? Scap is gonna see this **** and flat **** your ass.

Manning, Marino and Unitas all had a starting core of Lineman. Good ones no boubt, Manning getting the shorter end of the stick.
Watch the games this year. Bellichick has 7-8 interchangeable guys he swaps out. Guards that can and do play tackle Right tackle can play Left tackle back up guard can sub in for either side of the line. This = fresh guy in any position, Certain lineup of the front 5 for different plays some for runnin others for passing. and one of the most genius O lines I've ever seen. Brady has so much time to let Moss and Stalworth and co. get open he could lose his sight and still get completions. It's an amazing scheme. I am suprised Billichick hasn't put his hands in the offense like he has this year in previous years.

My argument is applied to Montana and Elway. I'd pick Marino to be the sports best ever in the QB position followed by Farvre. Both had mediocre teams and still managed great feats in the game. And Favre has those prescious rings to go with it. If you wanna holler superbowls where is Bradshaw on the list?

You can use the "great offensive linemen" argument to detract from the achievements of most of the great nfl qb's. Aikmen had the best offensive lines in the history of the league. Montana had a great line, Bradshaw had a great line, etc. Bottom line is Brady is one of the great qb's of the last 30 years. Anyone who can't see that isn't worth arguing with...
