Comments Thread For: Hearn Expects Tyson Fury To 'School' Deontay Wilder in Trilogy

Promoter Eddie Hearn has questioned whether WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury will still have the same hunger to succeed against Deontay Wilder, but has told William Hill that he is backing the Gypsy King to come out on top when the duo meet in their trilogy fight later this year.

Tyson should win but all fights are different. Just because a fighter beats another fighter easy in first fight don't mean they don't lose rematch.
Only thing is though is if you win first fight easy, you can claim no need for rematch? Which is flawed logic of course

I think Wilder might have a mental breakdown this time and cry in the ring, Mccall style.

He must wonder what he did wrong to be cursed with Fury in his life.

Fury's never come across so hungry and focused for battle. When someone of his ring IQ has your number it doesn't bode well when he's in such a strong mental state. Still improving and growing into the Kronk style too and he'll make the build-up excruciating for Wilder.

As regards Wilder, who really knows what's going on? Radio silence regarding this fight suggests he's either got his head down grafting (bit like the ultra low profile Froch had in Groves rematch). Or he's gone entirely the other way and he's been broken. Time will tell.

Fury won the first fight in my opinion fairly wide on the cards (by at least 5 points)

The second fight he dominated every second of the fight

I can't think of a situation when there's been a reversal of form like that

Really there is no need for a 3rd fight and there wouldn't be one save for legal situations

The third fight should happen this year. If they can`t make it without the crowd, then let them take tune-ups.

Fury is obviously better than Wilder 90% of the time but the more people assume he will win the third fight the more I start to feel like this will be the one where Wilder actually lands the shot he needs.

Bro Wilder looks ****ing rekd, I noticed all these grey hairs popping up in his beard and eyebrows, his skin is sagging, he has bags under his eyes. He's a broken man.

Honestly I'm 50/50 on if he even makes it to the third fight, he looks like he's had a mental breakdown.

When all else fails, when the “American takeover” is revealed as a total failure, when you no longer have the “billion dollar budget”, when your app falls apart, when you are relegated to fights in someone’s backyard/garden, when your leading contender gets bingo’d, when you’re begging for fights other the likes of Top Rank and Golden Boy, I guess the only thing left to energise the EDL/BF incels is good old fashioned bashing of the American former champion who you created a multi-year long campaign to soil and discredit
