  • Wilders best win is Ortiz, then his second best is errr...Arreola? Helenius? (who Joshua also beat), Stiverne? Gerald Washington? how the **** is that enough to put him over Usyk who has beaten Fury, Dubois and Joshua x2? or even over Joshua who has beaten Wlad, Parker, Povetkin, Whyte, Pulev, Ruiz,...

  • Roys level of athleticism doesnt grow on trees. He was exceptional.

You're not being consistent here. You say the athletic requirements differ depending on the sport (which is true of course) but then disregard that when talking about boxing and MMA. Guys like Brock, Yoel...

  • It'd help Furys legacy obviously but people would want a third fight to settle things. It'd be weird for them to retire at 1-1....

  • I dont think Usyk is "scary" really. Hes great yeah, but hes not all that scary. The two scariest HWs right now are Zhang and Bakole imo....

I dont think the current situation is much different now to what its been at pretty much any point post-Floyd/Pac tbh. And the few years in the mid 00s just before Floyd and Pac blew up werent much better than now either.

Theres no need to worry honestly - Tank, Ryan, Haney, Shakur, Boots,...

  • Are we really giving him credit for basically EXISTING in a stronger era?

Worldwide is one thing, but if you think AJ will be forgotten domestically you're crazy. He was literally the biggest draw in British boxing history....

  • Not really, they're two combat sports with a strong base in America and obvious crossover appeal. 20 or so years ago the UFC was like 5 cards a year in places like Alabama and Arkansas while boxing had stuff like Lennox/Tyson doing almost 2 million buys. Now the UFC is the biggest promotion in combat...

  • Theres a reason that boxing has lost so much ground to it in the space of just 20 years.

And all sports are drug infested. Lol @ any top boxers actually being clean....

  • Boxing will be fine. Something new always comes along to capture peoples attention. It was Floyd and Pac, then it was Canelo and GGG, then it was the HW division, Spence and Crawford, Tank and Ryan etc etc. Theres a pretty good generation of young American talent in their 20s out there too.
