Loma, however, is a totally different story.
My thing is I don't think Loma is that good.

I'll be here commentating on the fight in the RBR thread. We can retouch base on fight night.

Well he's also like 10 years younger, explosive and strong along with solid boxing ability.
When you consider all those factors, this will be Loma's toughest fight.
You can maybe make a parallel to Nicholas Walters, but Walters wasn't as lethal as Lopez.

you're such a ****** lol. you think it's a 50/50 fight and predicts lopez to win by ko but if loma wins not much credit for him
make up your mind boy and watch out for those emotions before loma totally f ucks up your life

I'm picking Lopez to blitz Loma.

The thing I like about Lopez in this fight is him and his old man really think they have the beating of Loma I think, which is important because you wonder how many fighters really believe they can beat Loma..
The important thing is he keeps that belief in the fight because it’ll probably get frustrating but he’s explosive and powerful enough to have success.
Also I don’t think Loma Has looked quite as sharp over the last couple of years. He’s no spring chicken for featherweight/lightweight - And he had a long extensive amateur career and has been injury prone in the last couple of years.
Obviously he never takes much punishment but I just thought over the last couple of years, he looked a bit more beatable with a good opponent having a good night.
With all that said, I don’t think it’s a great match for Lopez stylistically and I think Loma should be able to out box him fairly comfortably.Last edited by deathofaclown; 08-21-2020, 01:29 PM.

Let me start by saying I am not the biggest fan of the way Lopez boasts after getting KO's. That said the young man does have athleticism far beyond most traditional power punchers. That is his biggest weapon. Being able to use his speed to pressure his opponents into mistakes and traps.
Lomachenko should have a decent speed advantage, is far more experience and possibly even holds a sizable skill advantage. The danger for Lomachenko exists in Lopez's power. Teofimo is a legit puncher not just a flash in the pan that happened to score some stoppages.
Lomachenko should be slightly favored but a loss to Lopez is not inconceivable.
