How can we possibly know what any of those fighters are worth without seeing what happens in between? This is a big part of why Wilder didn't accept DAZN's offer. Joshua vs. Wilder wasn't next, so why would Wilder agree to terms before seeing what happened in his next fight and Joshua's next fight?

Same thing applies here. Joshua's next fight or two and Wilder's next fight or two could drastically change their value. It's impossible to sit here right now and say what a fair split would be in the future after they've fought more fights.

If Wilder vs Fury II (and the hypothetical Wilder vs Fury III) do huge PPV numbers in the US, the value of the WBC champion coming out of that fight or fights is much higher than if the PPV buys are modest.

People arguing over splits right now are idiots. The fighters aren't available. When they are available, their value could be very different than it is right now.

Then how do they deserve it if it doesn't make sense?

They don't deserve it, but AJ will pay it, because otherwise Wilder will continue ducking. In fact, even when offered 50/50, Wilder will have an excuse, or will not answer the phone, or e mails, like he does now - he just ignores AJ and hopes he goes away lol. What a s***house.

As such, wilder will request a 50/50 split because eventually AJ will lose credibility if he keeps beating up European bums and dishwashers.

He will make a ton of money for sure, but he will end up as the least respected hwt champion ever.
Nah, the fight will generate more in Saudi Arabia because the site fee will more than make up for any shortfall in broadcast revenue. The biggest possible fight IMO would be Joshua v Wilder in SA, that way you get capture US & UK markets + massive site fee. This should be clarified by Fury v Wilder 2, which should be much larger than Ruiz v Joshua 2 but won't be IMO.

Once again you sad sacks are talking about Wilder being worth more in the future. The mans in his mid 30's. The mans had over 40 fights. Joshua is a big A side over Wilder. We wouldnt be having this argument if Joshua was American but Americans just cant seem to handle a foreigner being an A side over an American. It just wont compute in your over egotistical heads.

Pretty sure when Hearn said 50/50 the context was what it would take to make the fight, not what was deserved or fair.
Joshua was questioning why 50/50 was fair, those are two very different questions.

If Joshua has 3 belts, made $60-80M in his last fight vs 1 belt and say $30M for the Fury/Wilder winner, its pretty obvious he would be the a-side. Lets say Wilder starches Fury, what does he do then? Would anyone want an immediate rematch? Would Wilder finally fight his mando Whyte? Maybe they feed Ruiz to him.

This is beyond the fighters this is about Finkel and Haymon. They are not prepared to allow Wilder off their network but are not prepared to cough up like DAZN and Sky are willing to cough up. So we are left with Finkel and Haymon talking Wilder out of taking any fights offers from Joshua.
Massive guarantee? Like 50 million? Lol

Yeah but with paperwork this time and no 24 hour deadline and no strange refusal to tell them anything about the offer like last time. Oh and no BT Sport paying for it either cuz Joshua cant fight on BT sport.

                LOL.

Joshua fans in serious depression. They know he doesn't have the boxing skills to beat Fury nor the chin to last vs Wilder.

Yet we still want those fights. Wilder only wants old men or feather fists cuz he knows even the bums have managed to land on him before hes landed on them cuz they have all managed to outbox him before he gets his KO. No wonder his resume lacks any prime top 10 punchers. Just an old man and a feather fist that beat him last time.

                      I'm not American.

The drawing power of a fighter can drastically increase or decrease depending on the results of one or two fights. So talking about splits right now is a waste of time. We really have no idea what these guys will be worth a year from now.
