Weakest? Hardly... Probably the hardest or second hardest.

Canelo will box circles around Gvozdyk and Beterbiev.

Canelo can outbox Kovalev BUT Kovalev is not an idiot either and CAN box as we saw in Alvarez 2 fight. And he has power.

Canelo vs Bivol... even at 168 would be an AMAZING fight with two younger guys with about equal strength and who can move. While Bivol is a small LHW and does not have Kovalev's power... he is quickly gaining experience and CAN box and move.

Aging champions in higher divisions trigger growth spurts in young "A siders" like Canelo.

Good tuneup for Kovalev a cruder but aggressive attacking fighter. Kovalev will have reach height one punch power jab let’s see if he uses advantages or gets lured into firefight against Canella

There's unfinished business at 160. If he does Fight The Krusher I hope he Krushes that man
Yeah I don't get it. I know Canelo wants to be a 4-5 division Champ or whatever but he's just constantly jumping through the weight classes seemingly trying to get easy picking fights while leaving behind unfinished business. It's like he has no home.

On another note, I doubt Kovalev beats Yarde but if he did an proves he still has gas in the tank then I don't think Canelo has much of a chance against him at 175. The majority of people don't even think he truly beat GGG.

There better not be a catchweight, but even if there isn't, people put too much importance on weight as opposed to age. Fighting 37 year old Kovalev is still a way easier fight, at 175, than fighting for example 30 year old GGG at 160. 30 year old GGG would have KO'd 37 year old Kovalev, at 175, with body and head shots, which happens to be what many are predicting Alvarez to do to him now.

Fans should support fighters who fight the best guys in their primes, rather than weight jump to where all the old guys with big names are. I hope Canelo-Kovalev happens, it's a good fight, but let's not pretend he's taking on prime GGG, or prime Dmitry Bivol (whether Bivol was a middleweight or a light heavyweight is not really the point. Obviously the fact he's a light heavyweight would make it even way harder for Canelo, but the point is Canelo has not even fought someone that good at 160 or 154. It's the quality prime guys he's avoiding, regardless of weight, is my point. The weight is secondary).

Canelo is 29 yrs old and been fighting pro since 16. There is nothing young about that.

Why are you dissing on PBC and spreading myths? In this current era, Adrien Broner PIONEERED this model of jumping weights to fight all the B-level prime guys and past prime old former A-level guys who have fallen down to B-level, and he's a PBC fighter. And he got it from Floyd, another PBC fighter without the name. Don't take away credit from PBC, Canelo is copying them.

Yes Canelo will box circles around Beterbiev and Gvozdyk bro. You have no idea what you're talking about.

Beterbiev is 34. Gvozdyk is 32. When Canelo fights them 3-4 years from now when Beterbiev is 37-38 and Gvozdyk is 35-36 (you know, GGG-age!), there's a very fair chance that Canelo will win a close decision against them.

All hail Canelo the GOAT. Middleweight, super middleweight, AND future light heavyweight KING of our era. Fighter of the decade (next to Ward), and THE fighter of the post-Ward era, his era, the Canelo era.

This fight is a farce! Canelo should be fighting GGG, Derevyanchenko, Andrade, Charlo, etc. There are too many good opponents that are being overlooked and if this fight happens I hope it backfires and the Krusher KOs him. Either Canelo is taking this time to cycle and juice up or Golden Boy is grossly underestimating the Krusher. Kovalev is a better boxer than given credit for and he still has good power
