I've been a GGG fan for pretty much his entire career, mainly because I enjoy that come forward take one to give one style, but I agree with a lot of the comments on here with regard to a third fight. I'm not going to say I wouldn't watch it because I will, but I think it's a bit of a non event at this stage and there are better fights out there for Canelo. While I am not a Canelo fan (mainly due to DLH) he deserves props for the career he's had and I do think he'd fight anyone (even in their prime) if it wasn't for his handlers. At this stage I'd like to see him up against Smith at 168, although I don't think DLH will let that happen unless there's some crazy stipulations put in the contract, because I think he walks through anyone at 160 right now. If GGG was a few years younger I'd be more interested but, that said, I still think GGG gives him the sternest test at 160.

I am actually happy with this situation

with Golovkin being an entitled crybaby diva

he will likely miss out on that fight.....

then we will get to see Canelo fight Andrade or Smith.....

and Golovkin will be forced to choose an opponent other than Canelo..... and that decision will be heavily scrutinized following the outcry over the last no-hoper he selected

who will Golovkin fight next..... that is the million dollar question

Stylistically that fight would probably be boring as hell. & I think people, myself included have given Andrade way too much credit. he doesn't have a single world class fighter on his resume & they all but gave him that wbo title. I think Canelo & GGG beat him & kinda wish one have them would fight him take his belt & then fight for all the marbles.

Charlo is on the "wrong side of the street" which has made him a non factor at 160. And after getting a gift against late replacement pillow punching Korobov I have no faith that he beats Andrade, Canelo, GGG, Billy Joe or DJ.
I admit I have given Andrade the benefit of the doubt, but he has passed all his tests fairly comfortably. Canelo is peaking. He has to bring the heat like he did Golovtits II against Andrade, I do consider him to be better than Jacobs

So what is it, it can't be both.
Either Canelo lost both, and GGG has no fan base.
Or GGG has a fan base, and Canelo did good.

Your bias just made you look really foolish.
How does not having a fan base win fights? First fight was close most agree, the 2nd fight was not. A handful of people is not the majority. Canelo won get over it already. GGG can't sell a PPV on his name alone that means he has no fan base. You are speaking nonsense making only yourself look foolish.

GGG overplaying his hand here. If he gets bypassed for September thats on him. He got what he want the last time, but he gots to realize their was an official D on Canelo's record. Now Canelo has a W on his record & Oscar don't gotta bend as much.

He don't need a non-Vegas location to win the fight. He needs to keep his foot on the gas & throw some mfing body shots & its a winnable fight.

I really didn't care if Canelo moved up personally. If Canelo stayed at 154 not Canelo weigh I really didn't give a **** ass if he ever moved up. I have no problem with a fighter staying in his weight class. For example I thought Garcia was crazy to fight Spence. I also think it's crazy for Spence to fight Golovkin or Canelo if he has lucrative fights in their own division and can make weight. Canelo chose to move up. That's his decision. His decision was IMO for money, notoriety and he had some difficulty making weight. Nobody forced him I didn't call for it. When it was obvious they were going to fight at some point I got involved and spoke my piece. People are throwing around huge insults to Golovkin's ethicity motives and whatever they think will stick to the wall. Know what sticks to the wall and makes a mess? Shyte. These haters are full of it so they have plenty to throw I don't like Canelo and said so. I don't however start endless repetitive threads about him that are demeaning like some of the lunatic fringe Golovkin haters that post on this site. Honestly I think some of them need medical intervention.

Speak your mind, always. Never be fake to yourself to appease others. Pointing out cultural consistencies does not make you a racist, just a very astute and detailed oriented person. Cultural tendencies are pretty accurate, generally speaking. Notice I said "generally," there are a few persons from each culture that overcome their cultural deficiencies. The truth hurts, but saves time, so speak it. Those who are of a high intellectual level will be able to read in between the spats of sarcastic and dark humor that you are dishing out, absorb it, laugh, appreciate the humor, and move on. Those who are truly racist and or dumb will be offended, and will typically lead to trying to undermine your truth will irrelevant facts mostly based off of their emotions and or the size of their p/enis(read Sigmund Freud). So speak from your heart!!! Do not be ashamed of who you are!!!!

It's very early. There is another thread here somewhere suggesting that it's Oscars fault the negotiations are stalling. So it depends who you ask I guess.

LOL my exact feelings on Canelo vs Andrade.

And if GGG overplays his hand here, which I think he's doing by playing games with the location, then lets get Andrade the f#ck outta the way for the serious mfers.

The former middleweight champion made it clear in the aftermath of his fourth-round knockout of Steve Rolls on June 8 that he wants their third fight to take place elsewhere.

I hope not only that Golovkin, Loeffler and other members of "Team GGG" will refuse to fight Canelo in Las Vegas, but that other "B Side" fighters will refuse to fight "A Side" fighters in Las Vegas until the institutional corruption that has long sullied boxing in Sin City is addressed and remedied in a meaningful, real way.

Money talks; only when Las Vegas repeatedly loses big fights for this reason will they be forced to clean up their act.
