Boxrec tracks GGG’s amateur career back to 2000 when he won the World Jr Championship at light welterweight, which is 141 in the amateurs. And he was seventeen or eighteen at the time. By the time Canelo was eighteen, he was fighting as a welterweight. So if you look at the divisions each was fighting in at similar ages, they’re not very far apart in natural size. Canelo may actually be naturally a little bigger.
Are you really going to compare 3/4 rounders with head gear to Canelo 18 fighting GROWN men in 10 rounders???
    Smh...

From 2003-2005 GGG fought in the amatuers against BOYS at 75 kg when he was a Grown man.

You truly can't make this sht up,this begging ass chump doesn't deserve to be a chooser just because hes a natural born loser. Ggg is the biggest diva in boxing history, fmj you say,nah fmj had leverage ggg has muff cabbage. Vegas is by far the most lucrative & where the best compete for a reason.

As much as I am 1000% sure ggg gets kod this time,I hope Canelo doesn't reward this bum guillotine with another payday. Andrade should be 1st,then Charlo, then charlie chaplin borat after he guillotines some more bums.
      Exactly

GGG is a diva and does.not deserve another shot

      Canelo won clearly the rematch.

seriously, who does that crybaby think he is

Canelo should tell him to kick rocks and fight Andrade

in Mexico..... with Canelo's brothers judging..... Canelo's father as the ref..... and Golovkin has to wear a nappy on his head..... or go kick rocks

I would prefer to see Andrade get a deserved payday, rather than Hypekin get another undeserved payday

Not sure how much you know about amateur boxing. If you’re like me, you only pay close attention to it once every four years. That said, GGG competed internationally as a amateur. It’s a pretty safe bet that the competition he faced at international boxing tournaments was a helluva lot better than the vast majority of the grown men Canelo faced with losing records as a teenager fighting in dirt arenas in Mexico.

That said, the competition they faced has nothing to do with natural size. Your claim is that GGG is naturally much larger. And you supported your claim by stating Canelo is in his fourth weight class. I called bulls.hit on it because you’re counting divisions Canelo fought in when he was fifteen. When GGG was fifteen, he was probably fighting in divisions lower than 140, which is where Canelo started his pro career. GGG was fighting at 141 at eighteen.

Either way both fights were close the 2nd being razor thin. I think the 3rd plays out the same way, whoever wins doesn't win by much
I’m very much in the minority. I thought Canelo won the first fight and GGG won the rematch. Either way, it points to the fact that nothing has been settled between the two. And there needs to be a third fight.

How does he get away with all that? Then he cries about it if he doesn’t get his way like a child and his followers will claim duck if the fight falls through... wow

You forgot no National Anthem because Mexicans would get rowdy and give an unfair suport to Canelo. ¿remember?

He picked the judges and the ref last time out....any other excuse you would like to address?

Golovkin the diva isn't going to call the shots on anything this time.

If I'm Canelo I tell him to go kick rocks.

So why shouldn’t GGG pick this one.
Why because Canelo supposedly beat him in the 2 me fight.
Well judges said he did ,I accept that but what have Canelo right to have first fights and everything to do with them,in his favour.
And be objective in ur answer which on this boxing scene website is seriously lacking.
He clearly beat him especially the second time around. And no thats not how it works the A-side has a say especially when he got all the belts and the power to pull the masses.
