You sense that Tank will build his name and fight Loma when Tank and his team feels he has the best chance to win. That bothers you because you like Loma and are somewhat annoyed he wasn't able to get a fight with Tank when you felt Loma would easily beat Tank.

Is this in fact the case? If so, why?
Lol. I'm sure tank will fight his only other fight of the yr against Mares in Oct or something like that. Tank has a style I love. But will fight very low level and step up in competition probably won't be kind to him. See GRJ, Charlos, Adonis. Just way it is. Loma will be top dog for at least 3-4 more yrs imo and tank will be about 40 pounds heavier. I like tank, but that's the reality...

now I understand what Mr. Ellerbe meant, when he was praising Davis and his next 4 big fights in 2019. What a hot year of matches to come

It is foolish to assume Tank's career will be like the other PBC guys now that PBC has legit TV deals with Fox and SHO. I think you and others forget that the past 3 years they were operating under "time buys" where they had to foot the bill for everything.

I will say this-I think they did a bait and switch and used Mares to sell seats in LA knowing he would "get hurt". They move Hugo in late, then have Mares fight Tank when he is "healthy".

Not foolish at all. It's an educated opinion. I hope these level of fighters fight 3-4 minimum per yr on Fox bUT I highly doubt it. Maybe I get proved wrong...works out great for me

I know nothing off him but he appears too small to be fighting Davis.

I doubt some guys fight 4 times a year other than the up and coming guys but I expect it will be about 3 times per year.

I really do think having a legit deal rather than time buys will make things better. Already we've had 2 really strong cards- the charlo bros card and the Thurman card. Not to mention the wilder/fury PPV. Yeah the manny/broner fight ****** but the Spence/Garcia card looks strong.
