That's true. And you can also have fights which are close but clear draws. Eg, if each fighter clearly wins 6 close rounds of a 12 round fight.

But, imo, there is no case to made for Broner winning any more than 3 rounds, maximum, of that fight last night, and 2 of the judges gave him 4 rounds.

That's what people are complaining about.

Agreed. Any experienced and knowledgeable fan understands there are fights with clear rounds and debatable rounds. Last night, practically all but a couple of rounds were clear Pacquiao rounds.
