Comments Thread For: White: I Can Promote Boxing Better, Arum's TV Deal is Not Great

Not a fan of Dana or really the UFC
But the guy can promote his a.ss off, The fact that his company made women's MMA reputable and Ronda Rousey a household and a bunch of other clubby night names known name should tell you that
if he aligned with someone like Haymon/ or Arum ( Won't happen ) he probably has a good chance at being successful
The UFC has lost a lot of steam the last couple years and The UFC guys probably won't be happy once they see what they should be getting paid but whatever it'll probably be good for the sport if he gets involved and works with Top end talent.

The UFC on FOX deal, as it's currently set up, has a present value of $200m a year. The UFC then does 12 PPVs a year, generating who knows what (sans Conor, would not shock me if the UFC's PPVs generated $200m-$250m in their own right.
If TimeWarner was going to come to the table, just as Stephen Espinoza made clear a while ago, it'd be for the full package.
$400m per year or whatever the price is, for everything UFC, with UFC still keeping the promoter's share of a reduced PPV scheduled.

Once again let me make it clear I'm talking about Currently, guys who are CURRENTLY fighting and the Current State of Boxing. McGregor vs Diaz 3 in a boxing match DESTROYS Canelo vs GGG and any other fight that is considered a big Boxing match "CURRENTLY"

Best believe you’ll be the first one I’m going to pick on when McGregor doesn’t crack 4.6 million against Diaz or any non-boxing UFC fighter.Originally posted by sicko View PostI stand on it 100% no current boxing match would sell more than McGregor vs Diaz 3. Hell it is no BOXER Mayweather can fight since you want to drag him into it, that he can fight that would do as big as his fight with McGregor did!
