Roy's fight night weight for Woods was about 186 pounds.

Mackie had him weighing about 10 pounds heavier, 7 months later.

He didn't pack a ton of weight on, he just changed his % of body fat.

He did the same thing with Spinks when he fought Holmes in 1985.
Look.....as a Roy Jones fan I understand why you're so adamant about his. You think admitting Jones used PED's throughout his career diminishes his legacy in some way. Coming from me I can tell you it does not. Him taking PED's is not a BAD thing, just like it isn't for all the other boxers I mentioned.

Let it go man, PED's are a part of sport and have been for a long time. Once you alter your mindset in this way it wont bother you anymore. Coming to acceptance is better than continuing to hold cognitive dissonance.

Now tell me honesty: Did you really write those reasons (about jones-ruiz) because you truly believed them? Or did you just throw them out as a smokescreen to reality?

I'm not naive enough to think it couldn't have been possible, but I've read Mackie's accounts, and I've seen the documentary. After Hall, Roy passed 3 random tests. And there's no reason he couldn't have gone from 186 to around 196, from September to March.
