as far as talent goes i think Floyd is as talented as they come, he just didn't accomplish as much SRL yet.

Originally posted by ejenkiThe assumption that Ray Leonard would have easily beaten PBF is psychotic in my opinion. I took Ray Leonard 10 rounds to get rid of Floyd Sr and PBF has more skills than his dad had. PBF defense alone would have given any of the greats a though time because Floyd Sr defense was though for his foes to figure out and PBF uses it better than he did. It will be very hard to compare the two until Floyd’s career is over. Also when need to see someone push him so we can see how much he has deep down. We've seen a little in the Phillip N,Dou and Corley fights. We wont be able to decide who will win the game until we know all the cards that PBF has in his hand. We know what SRL has which adds to the belief that he would easily win.

your a loser, shut up. mayweather is way too small for srl,. he hasn't proved anything at 140, how would he deal with a natural welter? that's right, he hasn't fought one yet

mayweather has talent no doubt, but its his fault he hasn't been tested other then castillo, a for a few round by judah, mayweather is reluctant to take on tough fights.
mayweathers already had 2 fight, and still havn't fought 1 real welterweight and another thing why are people thinking 29 years old isn't old in boxing? not everybody is bernard hopkins or george foreman or jersy joe walcott, or jose napoles, etc....mayweather is 29 and is already slowing down, ok, if he's not slowing down then mitchell and judhah have exposed part of mayweathers game.

first off leanord didn't beat hagler, i watched the fight many of times and i still give the fight to hagler, leanord didn't make hagler retire either hagler didn't want to be apart of that bull**** anymore he knew he won the fight and he also knew it would of been virtually impossible to get a decision over leanord just like delahoya now, leanord was a big draw for boxing especially coming back after a layoff, he looked good in the fight but in my opinion hagler won.

Originally posted by Bobby PeruIMO, Duran didnt have to take the rematch at short notice. He was the champ, so i dont see how Leonard could have offered him a rematch.
Hagler also didnt have to agree to the conditions before fighting Leonard, i think its unfair to critisize Leonard for that.
And to critisize Leonard for not giving Hagler a rematch, yet not mention he gave Hearns a rematch is also biased.
But i agree with all the other crap u said.
Therefore while I am not saying hagler and duran should have agreed to leonard, leonard was the one bringing the most money to the table and his power in negotiations was therefore way bigger.

Originally posted by wmuteI am sorry but I stand by everything I said about duran and hagler: it is true that they were both the champions. But (as we are getting to know better and better, see the whole judah-baldomir thing for instance) money rules the game, not being THE champ.

But, from ur earlier post, i think u should give Leonard a whole lot more credit for fighting Duran, and beating him, as well as Hagler. And not make excuses for his wins.
