Is the "GGG" a major draw in the UK (using Brook's name) the biggest stretch?

    He wasn't the headline fighter.

Of course GG was being booed. But how many seats does the O2 hold, and how many fans from Sheffield were in attendance etc?

The live crowd is insignificant compared to the PPV revenue.

The 600k PPV buys weren't just to see Brook.

I don't know how me proving you a liar makes me one.
Brook could never have headlined a PPV card without AJ and Mitchell etc.

Anthony Joshua's fight against Kevin Johnson is what drew the PPV.

Eddie has been selling AJ to the casuals for a while now.

        No he isn't.

GG-Eubank would have replicated the same PPV.

Brook would have needed to have fought Khan to have surpassed that.

Brook has been headlining and selling out arenas for years, Jr is still fighting on undercards of good shows.

Brook was the draw, Brook had all the support; Golovkin was a feared opponent, that's all he brought to the table.
Yes it would, which is why Brook accepted the exact same terms that Eubank was offered.

Matchroom wouldn't have offered out two $5m cheques if they hadn't been extremely confident in the PPV figures.

Brook hasn't got a big fan base outside of Sheffield. Eubank may not have the same level of support, but support and interest are 2 very different things. Eubank creates more headlines with his and his father's crazy behaviour. They're constantly making headlines. Many fans would have tuned in with the hope of seeing GG beat him.

Anyone who believes BROOKs name is the only reason the PPV sold is out of their mind.

GGG could have fought ANY brit and brits would have bought the fight

This is such BS. Brits support their own and are big boxing fans, that's why the GGG-Brook fight sold.

But GGG alone is a much bigger international than than GGG

You're kidding yourself if you think GG-Jr would only have done 200k. Why do you think GG was given a flat fee of $5m, and Kell accepted the exact same terms that Eubank was offered?

Not only would a Jr fight have equalled the PPV, it may even have surpassed it. Because an awful lot of people would have wanted to see him get bashed up due to the ridiculous comments made by his father.
Clearly he is, it is fact.

Brook headlines, sells out arenas and draws big viewing numbers. I've been to a few Jr fights (Blackwell most recently) and they still have to give away a lot of tickets and he doesn't headline on big cards.

Eubank has a more known name due to the family legacy, but Kell Brook is the bigger draw in the UK, by far.

Brook accepted terms because he has been chasing a big fight for years, he took what he could get. Golovkin-Eubank wouldn't have come close to those numbers.

Yes, Brook has got a bigger loyal following than Eubank, but Eubank creates more interest as a whole. Again, you've got to allow for the fact that lots of people would love to see Jr get beat, due to his arrogance and his delusional father.

A GG-Eubank fight at the O2 would have sold out and replicated the numbers set by GG-Brook. Again, which is why it was set for PPV and the terms were exactly the same. If Brook accepted the exact same terms as what Jr was offered and walked away with £5m, then we know that that's what Jr would have made. So Eddie Hearn and Matchroom had huge confidence in the amount of PPV's buys it would have generated.

If Brook fought Spence at the O2, it would probably still sell out, but not as quick, and it wouldn't generate anywhere near as much in PPV as GG-Eubank.

GG is the main reason why the fight did 500k in PPV revenue, not Brook.
