I don't know him, maybe he did lie or maybe he forgot that Brook-Gavin was the headliner on that PPV as it is easy to forget. It was the first Sky Sports PPV I can remember that wasn't marketed upon the main event.

Isaac says GGG was already promoted before both those fights took place, so he didn't win either title, he was handed them on a plate, etc.

I'm not sure that even WBA themselves could tell us exactly how their rules work in that respect. All I know is that if GGG hadn't beaten Tapia and Geale he wouldn't be the WBA super champion today.
