I'm not sure why more fighters don't go to the UK to fight. Boxing is dead in the U.S. It's a niche sport. Why not go to UK where it;s actually still very popular.

No announcement yet.
Is the "GGG" a major draw in the UK (using Brook's name) the biggest stretch?

Do you not think that things like that are taken into account before companies like BoxNation and Sky agree to host it??
Canelo is a big name. If Khan was an Hearn fighter that would have been PPV too.
You don't know shit.

Although I would assume that Golovkins star power in the UK is growing with victories over Macklin Murray and Brook unless those fights are causing UK fans to hate him lol
Could be a bit of both

Originally posted by HeroBando View PostWhich is why Brook vs Porter, and all of Degale American fights were UK ppv, free money. Again, Canelo Brook is probably UK ppv, but gets less than 100k buys. But that's nice extra for a guy that was getting offered a career high 1m pounds for a unification 6months ago.
He was getting £1 million because nobody would come to the UK to fight him, so they had to offer the challenger £1.7 million.
