" i had it dead even through 11 and gave ward the 12th".....but you had ward winning ? wasnt there a knockdown?? regardless the russian was robbed...
ward ran pot shotted and held all night plus was badly hurt once and hurt 2 or 3 more times with a jab after that

I just watched the fight. I missed it on Saturday because I had to work and I fail to see what all the "robbery" fuss was about.
I scored it 114-113 Kovalev with 2 rounds, in particular, that were really close, (rounds 4 and 6) both of which I scored for Sergey.
This fight tells me that...
A. People can't see past their bias
B. Many "fans" have casual eyes.
- You can see the clear jabs, hooks, and straights, but do not understand ring generalship and have no respect for body work.
Ward dictated the pace throughout majority of the fight and was killing Sergey on the inside.
Kovalev needs to up his conditioning and lean on his jab heavily throughout the fight in the rematch.
Damn close fight! Anyone who says otherwise DKSAB!

But now suddenly you guys want to change it back and give more weight to dirty inside fighting, since the foreigner was the one landing the clean head shots this time.
Total hypocrisy. If they don't make the rematch by March I'm just going to forget about it and leave this corrupt sport to the only fans dumb enough to keep apologizing for it. Y'all deserve what the sport has become.

Validated by the scoring cone?
LMAO, get out of here with that trash. American boxing needed a champion to replace Mayweather so they made it happen. No need to resort to scientific weather prediction models to explain it..... the fact that the analogy was made shows how far in left field the scoring was.
Complete joke.

Ask any boxing insider. They will tell you that when judges start sweeping later rounds like that, it's very suspect, and they are doing it to maintain a certain desired score.
Was it as blatant as Perez? No but my point is after you already saw one robbery on the card, and then you get another weird decision, why would you give the judges the benefit of the doubt?
I'm just saying don't be naive. Like it's fine if YOU scored it for Ward SUBJECTIVELY, but why would you assume that's also the reason the judges scored it for Ward? This is boxing. The most corrupt sport in existence. They already robbed one fight that night, so why would you give them the benefit of the doubt?
I'm saying whatever your score or my score was, I believe odds are very high that the judges were corrupt, and odds are very high that if they weren't corrupt, they would have scored it for Kovalev like 90% of the fans and the media did.

Kovalev shares a fan base with GGG. Ward shares a fan base with Floyd. By robbing Kovalev in favor of Ward, they piss of Kovalev/GGG fans, and make them hate Ward. They are then banking on GGG knocking out Canelo next year, making GGG a huge star.
Then they have...
Ward "beating" Kovalev, making him #1 pound for pound for now (not really but that's what they'll say).
GGG knocking out Canelo, making him retake #1 pound for pound.
Then GGG-Ward gets made. #1 pound for pound vs #2 pound for pound. By this time, all of GGG's fans hate Ward just as much as Pacquiao fans hated Mayweather, because of the robbery against Kovalev. Ward's fans already hate GGG because he's white. Now suddenly you have a fight that will get 3 million pay-per-view buys (seriously).
That's exactly what this is about. You might think they don't plan that far ahead... when $300,000,000 is in the making, they think that far ahead, trust me.
I just don't think they were banking on Kovalev actually beating Ward. But don't get it twisted. People think if it's close in the 2nd fight, they will give it to Kovalev to make the trilogy. **** no. They don't want a trilogy. They want Ward taking out Kovalev, GGG taking out Canelo, and then you have the next Mayweather-Pacquiao in pretty much every way.
