Back in the early 20th century Sam Langford fought Harry Wills(not sure off of the top of my head) around 17 times. Talk about rivalry. But that was a different era and far more prejudiced unfortunately which made them the only fights available to each other because they were so skilled...and black.
Yep you have to bring in the legends to compete with his resume

Leonard's, hearns, canzoneri, greb, jimmy bivins, Charley burley, type

    I love Barrera and Morales

First ppv I purchased with my own money was Morales vs Ayala....he battered my boy Ayala....but he was no pep, no Duran level guy....mayweather was

Their is good great ATG then legendary .those guys were atg...manny too....IMO money is legendary... He is in the same breathe as the best p4p and best of eras of old. Srr, Jones, Ali, johnson he dominated his era was the best and is iconic....hate em love him....his skills are among the best ever n talent

They were in the same era.... May weather was the best of the era

He beat more champions, made it look easy, defended his titles more , beat more champs

You have to go to top 20 ATG to legitimately say their resume was better

PAC may be top 20 ATG but he clearly doesn't have a better resume than money. Besides belts across weight classes may weather edges him in everything else
Name 4 fighters that were better than Barrera, Morales, Cotto, & Bradley that Pretty Boy beat.
        I won't be waiting.

Are you trying to say Liston was not in the prime of his career when he fought Ali?

The list of greats Mayweather beat before the age of 35 is too long to count.

If you count the losses Ali and Mayweather are pretty close, but I give the edge to Mayweather.
              lol what

Dude, what are you talking about.

If you don't know why Archie Moore, you are a lost cause...

Fighting Ezzard Charles 3x is better than Floyd's entire Career.

Add in that he was the #1 rated Middleweight by ring ****zine in 1942, #1 rated light heavyweight in 1952 and #1 rated heavyweight in 1955.

Throw on a 10 year run as light heavyweight king after not getting his first title shot until he was 16 years deep into his career and 37 years old...

And you say no... just no... to Archie Moore?

so fighting genaro hernandez at 21 years old and 17 fights didnt show courage?

castillo was a welterweight both fights, that didnt take courage?

he can say whatever he wants...he proved himself in the ring......by age 30, he was 5 division title holder 3 were lineal, now he has 4 lineal

fighting from 130-154 at 5'8" and 72" reach didnt show courage?

everyone has a preference and it takes courage to get in the ring, period, especially vs world class pros.

sure he didnt fight all of his best opponents in their prime, no one has, and many of those fights, he was the older fighter, past prime. does he get credit for that?

who else has 49 fights or less with a resume like his? I'll wait....

Mayweather fought more top 5 opponents in his career, than any fighter in recent history....thats not up for debate....Pac, Maidana, Judah, Baldomir, Canelo, JMM, Hatton, Castillo, Corrales, Hernandez, Cotto, DLH, Mosley, Gatti were all top 5 or a world champion when they fought him.

not to mention the top ten contenders he beat
I agree that Camacho is criminally underrated. He has maybe the fastest hands Ive ever seen, had a great skill set, was southpaw, and was humiliating people.

People never look at context. In 20 years, people are going to be like Floyds best win was Deigo Coralles? Isn't that the guy that was in that war with that other guy that beat Floyd?

You think people will remember Maidana, or Guerrero?

Camacho was beating legit opponents, and its surprising how easily Chavez beat him. That fight always baffled me. I just can't wrap my head around how Chavez managed to stay right infront of someone with legs like Camacho.

Barrera nore Morales have a better resume then mayweather.......that should be thrown out.

Chavez was unreal. Camacho was tough as hell to take all of that, too.
