they fought a similar tier of fighters and accomplished similar things, including wins over a lot of the same guys. manny started his career just over 100 lbs, and was the best flyweight in the world. no flyweight has come close to accomplishing what he did. there have been many guys who went from 130 to 154.
and that's the argument. if you think you need to live in an alternative reality to understand the implication of one fighter being the best flyweight in the world while the other started at 130 lbs and was a natural welterweight by the end of his career, it is on you!
