You sad lil newbie "fight fan." Canelo's last fight, which was pretty much viewed as a circus act, sold 600K PPVs. Which is about 6× more than GGG's precious unification belt quest sold. That makes Canelo the draw. Stars don't need belts. GGG can have 100 belts. If he wanta Canelo, its gonna be on Canelo's terms. Either that or fight some cab driver on regular HBO.

They said they would fight Floyd at 154 cause its a big name big money fight but woouldnt have fought Canelo at 155 cause he was the Champion at 160. Well belt gone so now does GGG want that big name big money fight at 155 or claim another belt and still have nothing to show for it.

Been saying for awhile that GGG is wasting his time and at his age time is not on his side. They dropped the ball with the Ward fight and IMO should take the belt and fight Canelo at 155/157.

If not then time to open that pocket book and give the names big money cause 1.5 isnt much these days.

Jacobs, or Quillin, or Saunders is going to fight GGG for $1.5 million. He would have the WBO belt is he would of paid Saunders $4 million. I know he's not worth it but he would have all four belts and then can move on to bigger better things.

GGG most likely is going to fight Jorge Heiland or Alfonso Blanco next if it's not Canelo. Canelo looks REAL bad but GGG will start looking bad if we keep getting those type of fights.

I don't understand why they would walk away from negotiations with Canelo. That's the opposite of what he should be doing...

It's almost like there's a reversal of roles now. Now that Canelo is no longer the champ but still trying to make the fight it's like Team GGG is avoiding it and taking their belt and running. How are they allowing Canelo to bully them like this and running away? There is not a single reason for them to walk away from negotiations... Wtf is that? If the whole problem was the principle in regards to the belt what's the hold up now? How are they not just agreeing for the fight!? You'd think Team GGG would be chomping at the bit... Make the fight...

Exactly, they don't want no parts of CANELO at 155 , I said it all along if CANELO vacates the belt , to negotiate the fight at 155 like Team GGG begged him to , they would take the belt and run lol It hasn't even been a full day and he is ready to take off , even though the other organizations are giving both fighters plenty of time to make the fight. GGG is still ducking CANELO at 155 , CANELO, did his part he vacated , now sit your scary ass down and sign the contract, no one wants lil g to fight anyone else but CANELO at 155 this SEPTEMBER!

How does 320k PPV sales = $30 million in buys??? It was around 600k ppv buys.

Cotto vs. Canelo did 900K ppv buys. And Glaser said that fight only did 650k. MULTIPLE people stated it did 900K for $58 million. Looks like Glaser is off by about 300k again.

The money even adds up to the ppv buys. But believe what you want.

Why would there be any drawn out negotiations? Now that the meaningless trinket is outta the picture, the fight should be simple to make. Canelo is the clear A-side, so he'll get a bulk of the money. And Canelo fights at 155. Which shouldn't be a problem for Gennady because he's already said he can make 154. This whole time Team GGG has been saying they wouldn't fight for the belt under 160. Now that the belt is gone, GGG needs to step up to the plate and make this fight happen. And not hide behind pointless mandatories against plumbers and cab cab drivers.
