Cotto vs Canelo rematch is in the books.

Seen it on a few places within the PR channels.

Cotto canceled his viewing in Jun, Roach is coming over to PR for a few weeks to shake Cotto's rust in preparation for the rematch.

As opposed to the WBO or the IBF, and even the WBA for that matter ?

It's a turd polishing contest, no way can you definitely state that one is better than the other..... boxing doesn't need ANY of them. They are all horribly flawed, and none of them are definitive.

None of them have got it right, and none of them have ever had it right.
I don't disagree, but I only mentioned WBC because that is supposed to be the premiere belt in boxing. The most storied belt.

Yep, the WBC is going to let Alvarez do whatever the **** he wants, yet again. And Golovkin's side probably won't do **** to enforce his mandatory.

At this point I find both sides repugnant. They want to maintain their good business relationship so they won't force the fight. Has to be the dumbest thing I've ever heard lol. I don't think they'll ever fight. Golovkin will move up next year and canelo will move up to the 157 pound division.

That last Loeffler article says, nothing personal, Ggg just wants the belt, via fight or forfeit

              Oh, right.

But..... the first Loeffler article said that Gennady is this avoided killer who will fight anyone from 154-168?

Will we just forget about his earlier comments, and concentrate on the most suitable one, will we?

I don't know what to think of the new breed of boxing fans who would prefer to see their guy elevated rather than watch him win in the ring.

I think they must be the LBGT gays who jumped off the Pacquiao bandwagon.

                  Makes no sense at all.

If they refuse to negotiate with the red kid, Canelo will just be added to the list of BETTER fighters that Golovkin apparently could have fought, but CHOSE not to.

Golovkin will negotiate if he wants that fight, and he will refuse to negotiate if he doesn't.

If they are willing to negotiate 157 with Brook, why wouldn't they at least be willing to negotiate with Canelo?
Yeah true I guess when I saw Golovkin's 30 day weigh in, it was something like 164, the same as Canelo, I thought, honestly make 157 for Canelo surely?! I think this fight needs to happen more for GGG than Canelo. Canelo has the names on his record at 154. I think I am trying to look at it from a more reasonable point of view, because at the end of the day Canelo is the 'A' side so to speak.

To be fair, I think it would be harder for GGG, regardless as to all that 154-168 talk..... Canelo is younger and he is conditioned to it, I think 155 would be really tough for Gennady.

If he could get Canelo at 157 then he should take it..... because I have a feeling that the little red kid will squeeze him to 155, maybe 156.

The catchweight is not good, I don't agree with it..... sure Golovkin is a hypocrite, especially for calling out Ramirez and Mayweather within the last 2 days..... but Golovkin won't be the only middleweight who has to chew lettuce to land a Canelo fight.

Not good..... but, it is what it is.

I agree, catchweights are a load of bs, but when I heard GGG's promoter calling out Ramirez at 168 I thought 'really?!' For GGG to land the Canelo fight he is going to have to jump through hoops. But Canelo has gotten himself to that point in his career.
