I agree, catchweights are a load of bs, but when I heard GGG's promoter calling out Ramirez at 168 I thought 'really?!' For GGG to land the Canelo fight he is going to have to jump through hoops. But Canelo has gotten himself to that point in his career.

Yep. It suxx for Golovkin, because Martinez/Cotto/Canelo all ignored him.

He has earned the right to fight for that belt.

But Team Golovkin are playing the exact same risk/reward game themselves, and they pull the "A-side" card themselves..... it's just unfortunate for them that Canelo is further along with his career than Golovkin.
