GGG has been the madatory now for martinez cotto and canelo. How long is that ? How long before the wbc prez enforces the rules.

I agree no reason to speculate, all signs point to the fight not happening, the speculation should be on whether or not the WBC will strip Canelo when it doesn't happen. Another thing I would invite all the boxing world to speculate is whether or not boxing as a sport needs the WBC.

In fact that's the news WBC intended to communicate: they ruled for a September fight and now they say it's December... Just like that... Soon they will rule it "sometime down the line".

September vs December is huge in so many ways.

For one, December won't have the same economic impact as September would.

Secondly, GGG/Canelo could very easily fit another fight in between before December. GGG vs Jacobs comes to mind.

Starting from now I not follow this supposed "fight" as long as WBC changed their formal ruling without any explanation and reasoning.

They couldn't do it WITHOUT GGG's permission. So he deserves HALF the blame, if not more...

Ah people still ignoring that DLH and Loffler already met and spoke about what's going to happen. K2 already got the opportunity to either make Canelo fight them or give up the title, with WBC's backing, or come to an agreement with GBP about letting Canelo fight 1 or 2 fights. Instead they had a meeting, probably about letting the fight marinate a little bit and then they'll talk again, so they chose option 3, letting Canelo fight 1 or 2 times. The WBC was clear that Canelo had to fight GGG unless they can come up with an agreement with K2. So yeah, I still see people getting fooled into not knowing, or acting like they didn't read the news of Loffler confirming they already met after Cotto-Canelo.
