So many excuses thread failed so badly, tried to make it out as If Wilder would duck a mandatory but so far Fury has ducked two very good fights and your excuse for it is non-existing

Hughie ducked Wilder and Dyson will duck Wilder as well, this isn't WWE this is real.
Fury went to Germany to fight the #1 p4p fighter in the world, and you think he's going to duck a bum like Wilder?

Wilder made it perfectly clear when these 'vacate the belt' rumours first surfaced that he aint vacating no title.

In fact, not only did he say that he wouldn't vacate, he actually said that vacating the belt is the dumbest thing he ever heard and that anyone who actually thought that is ******. His own words.

So lemmie ask, why yawl being ******?
Wilder makes lots of claims. Most of them are bollocks. "Nobody wants to fight me doe"

With Canelo-Khan happening, and Cotto-Provodnikov being discussed, perhaps Thurman vs Kovalev in Moscow is next

Let's just wait and see. I think he takes the fight. There would be some serious backlash if he were to indeed vacate. I think the plan is to set up a fight with Fury if they both win their next fights. That's a monster showdown.

Go on please formulate an excuse, Wilder hasn't ducked anyone but it appears the Fury name is nothing but all talk no delivery Hughie Fury ducked Wilder and Dyson Fluffy Fury will duck the Bronze Bomber too.
Dawg Fury had a rematch clause in his contract with Wlad, nothing he could have done about that.

That ***** Kathy Duva is the one to blame for that scenario, she could have waited for Fury to fight Wlad and then negotiated with Fury or called for a purse bid, instead she intentionally got Fury stripped by calling for an immediate purse bid even though she knew about the rematch clause.

She wasn't interested in inforcing the mandatory, she was only interested in getting Fury stripped so she can get her fighter a paper title, the same fighter who pulled out of negotiations with Wilder in order to fight for that paper IBF.

So in essence, Duva tried to duck two world champs at the same time while getting her hands on a world title, too bad karma backfired on her.

I'm not a Fury fan, in fact, I'm a Wilder fan, but come on bro I know you didn't just say that.

I think so. Fury made a lot of noise over there last time + he was seen by something like 3 million last time he fought there.

As soon as the promotion begins everybody will buy into it I'm sure.

whether Wilder wants to go to Russia is irrelevant; he's not vacating the belt

I think Wilder will vacate and then target the Martin/Joshua winner.
-WBC is going to give him a 75/25 split on whatever the purse bid ends up being (with Wilder's camp likely getting the upside on the US TV rights).

-The fight gives him the opportunity for large exposure throughout Europe/UK.

-Wilder vs Povetkin is a fight that he could win.

Why would Wilder walk away from a payday that could conservatively be expected to at least be $5m, in a fight that he can win, that would also make the proverbial Fury-Wilder fight an even bigger fight (Russia/UK/Europe getting a chance to see this bombastic American heavyweight champion fighting in primetime for once)?

Especially if the alternative ends up being a likely fight in the UK against Anthony Joshua (a fight that might as well be called 50/50, with things likely turning once Joshua picks up even more experience).

It's a poor attempt at trolling and it just shows his lack of boxing knowledge. If he really wanted an example of Fury ducking, he should've brought up David Price.

WBC split is 70/30, with 10% of the purse going to the winner

So Wilder winning means he'd get 73% of the purse, him losing means 63% of the purse. Still a big sum.

Joshua-Wilder isn't so much of a payday for Wilder if he doesn't have a title
