If that was my fighter who was going up against a long-reigning champion, it's what I would have advised him to do.
I agree completely and I would have advised him to do the same thing as well.

I've never knocked Fury for going the most lucrative route, but the people knocking the IBF have no understanding of the situation. Fury tricked the IBF into sanctioning his fight and agreed to a rematch knowing it required ditching the IBF belt.

The IBF had no choice in the matter. Their hands were tied.

Yes he did. Before fighting the WBA/IBF/WBO champion as the WBA/WBO mandatory, he and the champion agreed that the winner would face the IBF mandatory next.

Then, he and the champion secretly agreed to a rematch and hid the agreement from the IBF to trick them into sanctioning their first fight.

Fury agreed to the rematch knowing full well it would require ducking the IBF mandatory and being stripped as a result.

Because a Klitschko rematch would be more lucrative than a mandatory defense, he ducked his mandatory and gave his belt up.

This is all easily verifiable fact. I'm not sure why you were under the impression that Fury didn't duck his mandatory when it's been discussed here at length.

Wilder will vacate his WBC title and then fight three more bums. He will then fight for the vacant WBC title (after it has been stripped from whoever has it) against Chris Arreola!
