I agree with GGG's people and I disagree.
I agree in the sense that if the division limit is 160 and both guys rehydrate to just about the same weight on fight night then it should not matter if one decides to come in below the limit and the other at the limit. Asking a guy to come down to the division minimum is a lot.
I disagree because of the A-side B-side business side of things where the fighter who's the draw has leverage at the negotiating table. Also because of GGG's team being willing to go to 154 for FMJ, they kind of screwed themselves arguing against doing the same for Canelo because now he's the biggest draw in Boxing.
Like when FMJ and Canelo fought, you have to becareful about what you say because it just might come back to bite you on the a55
