And does that promotional push come because he's a White eastern European? Or is it because he has the perfect fan friendly style?

IF he was a Black American with exactly the same style and attitude, would he get any less of a push by HBO?

"barely big enough" lol you guys act like GGG is a small middleweight. He's not.

And about Ward being forced to move up by HBO, but not GGG to fight Ward, despite Ward vs GGG being the more financially sensible fight that's true. Floyd says he took risks and moved up and GGG hasn't, but protects Ward. His point is that extra effort is being made to knock off Ward and protect and groom GGG.

Why would HBO discourage Ward vs GGG , while pretty much forcing Ward vs Kov
When Ward vs GGG is the much bigger fight ?

Forget that most of the fight games greats are black & recognised. You can even go back to times when black's were segregated, the black fighters were still recognised as the man at the time.
Truth is if there were some conspiracy Tyson wouldn't have been given all the chances he was, it was an easy out to ban him & say he brought the game into disrepute.
The same goes for Floyd Armstrong, known for his woman beating & criminal activities, they could have banned him shut him out & let him earn his money on the bkb circuits.

Truth is black's are some of the most racists about, even Chris rock jokes on it.
Look at schools, you'll see the black lads trying to pump the white bike but the black girls they all stick to their own skin tone circles.

You got a black president, the most powerful man in the world..but thats not good enough, because hes not really black because he's got some white in him FFS

Toughen the **** up my black brothers. Too many trying to be gangsta or hiding behind the rep of black's that CAN fight.

I grew up in Glasgow, we don't get the black gangstas like u get in London. It's not the weather that's stopping them, its the fact the act don't work up the road & all that Jamaican twang would get the pish ripped out of em. They'd end up chibbed to **** before they could say wagwan.

You even get inadequate white's chatting like it now, like its a London accent haha FFS

My experience with black's & I've met a few some were cool as ****, the Nigel Benn types. You get other black's calling them coconuts. Others acted street & were bad men dishing it out but when u grabbed hold of them they'd squeal that they were footballers or basketball players.

Conspiracy against black's?, its the white's that are discriminated against & it sickens me
. I've probably stepped in for more black's & Indians being abuse than half the black's & Indians on this board, definitely the type with 1000s of posts.
Too many of that type trying to shout people down like they got life experience.. On what? Computer games
Floyds a fanny & his argument is pish

Boxing fans should have had a real problem when HBO had Lampley come on and tell the fans that Ward /GGG wasn't a fight fans should be thinking about a couple of years ago.

When was the last time a network so publicly and overtly prevented 2 of its fighters from fighting?

He must be upset alot of people dont care about him retiring so now he's just saying whatever bs he can to be in the spotlight. Maybe GGG will fight Ward in 5 years. Floyd queef fans shouldnt have a problem with that

Whether people want to admit it or not, there are those that subscribe to belief in a racial hierarchy. At the top of the hierarchy would be white people and at the bottom of the list would be black people. A person who subscribes to that theory would gladly support asian fighter over a black fighter.

The proof is in the pudding. You just need to look at some of the racists pieces of **** on this site and how certain racist slurs saw a spike when Mayweather emerged victorious.
Now I'm not saying there are'nt racists running around, but to talk like there is a conspiracy afoot because a white guy is being pushed to the forefront is hysterical. Is it a marketing ploy? Almost certainly, but the reason for that is because whites make up well over 60% of the US population, and blacks about 13%. Given the income disparity. Does it really seem that far fetched to want to put the face of a guy most Americans can identify with, and have the excess income to spend on fights, center stage? Seems smart to me, not racist. Especially for a sport that has been declining in popularity over the years.

Now before you call people identifying with people based on color, racists, blacks, asians, and whites all do it. When you know very little about someone, you go with what you know. When there is a burning building. Do you save your kid or someone elses kid? When you see your boy getting into a scrap. Do you help the stranger? You're on a basketball court and you can choose between a white and a black guy, both strangers. Are you really going to pick the white dude? Now there is some obvious bias built in, but not racism, sorry its just how humans are built, black, white, asian and everything inbetween do the same ****.

News flash...if you follow boxing, age doesn't determine a fighters prime....its the wear and tear on the body that determines how long a fighters prime lasts
Kiddo, you've been on the forums for 3 years and have negative rep. That should tell you something - you post ******, unsubstantiated crap that is based on the conspiracies you come up with in your own little world.

Joe was a great fighter, trying to say he ducked BHop and RJJ makes you sound like a complete ****** and in this case, a racist. There are multiple articles arguing whether THEY ducked Joe. Here are some links for you:

So nothing about Crawford possibly getting a Manny shot even though he's not quite deserving of it yet, which has the possibility of him becoming a huge star if he ends up beating Pacquiao? Right. Not even going to get into the Ward statements.

Yes , historically HBO has snubbed Black fighters and pushed others . Just look at how Prince Hamed was treated compared to mayweather back in the day . Then look at the what happened when Hopkins koed HBO'S great white hope Pavlick ,HBO was so mad that the replay was aired at 2am instead of the usual 10pm .

And let's not PRETEND that Ko artist is the "the" element that creates fan-friendly styles
Cause if that were the case , Floyd wouldn't be the cash cow , so please find me another excuse , thx
