Floyd never beats the best versions of fighters. If he fought Canelo today hed get more credit than the version he fought back then at 152. Same with Miguel, I get the feeling todays version of Cotto is better than the one Floyd fought.

He needs to take risks that is comparable to the ones Duran took or SRL if he wants to be in the ballpark with them. Fighting past prime DLH at 154 isn't nearly comparable. DLH at his peak at 147 was a decent champion but DLH was no monster even at his peak, which he certainly wasn't when Floyd fought him.

Duran got frustrated into submission....if not for that, I would agree with him but he showed mental weakness....Floyd made his career off being mentally the stronger fighter on fight night

duran - 120 fights, a lot of tough fights, several wars, fought several all time greats in their prime, quit once in 119 bouts.

floyd - 50 fights, most non competitive, barely any wars, fought few greats, fought no all time great in their prime

i'll take duran's mental toughness even though he quit once.

anybody can seem mentally tough with little hardship.

duran went thru no mas, getting koed by hearns, losing close fights, etc.

floyd was throwing hissy fits, stuttering on video because pac was ranked #1.

The only way anyone beats Mayweather is by disqualification for excessive holding., pushing and running.

                  Get real
Look son I'm a massive Duran but comparing a mayweather to a ray Leonard is ridiculous.....mayweather would get ripped apart by both Leonard and Duran ......these 2 rank probably in the top 5 of all time.......as for Duran beating Leonard ..yes closely in brawl....and lose badly if Leonard used speed and movement...the first fight was close and Leonard never got of the ropes or moved away.....people like you always use the excuse that Duran was a drunk or he got to fat....news for you buddy...he always was a bad trainer and got out of shape and gorged himself silly.....it was Durand lack of motivation that messed up his career no body else and that is also something you consider when you rate a fighter.....Leonard at the end of the day in the 2nd was a completely different fighter in the 2nd fight and showed how you can beat Duran....mayweather of the other hand never had the strength or the punch that could keep Duran off him....Duran would KO mayweather by the 10th round.....I get it your a Duran fan but don't try and place Leonard as an inferior fighter to him....because he proved he was the better boxer

Duran beats Mayweather up, and Pacquiao. Brutally beats Floyd up and stops Pacquiao late because of Manny's style.
