    Is Roman Gonzalez really P4P no. 1?

    I really don't get how the guy can be P4P no. 1 fighting the type of fighters he has beaten. I mean, the guy passes the eye test and could be the best fighter right now, but looking at his record, he really hasn't beaten anyone yet to have proven it.

    What's your opinion? Write and discuss. Let's try and be civilized.

        I think most people are hesitant to rank him #1 because they just found out about him through HBO and have no idea about his comp because they are lower weight and not local. He has been respected by many, take cliff for example, for a while.

        I don't think he should be #1 but not because he lacks a great win, just that IMO wlad deserves it.

                  Wins over Estrada, Yaegashi, Nilda and Takayama

                  Then you have to look at the "it" factor and he has been completely dominant in his run so far. You can't determine who the best pound for pound fighter in the world is by printing out BoxRec sheets and going name by name. You have to see him fight to know if he is the best.

                    Gonzalez,Klitschko, and Ward are the top 3 imo you can put them in any order.
