The highest ticket price is 500 dollar... Interesting.
Highest ticket price cannot be $500. The most expensive tickets I saw were $2500 for ring side. I am almost positive I saw a $2500 ringside ticket on ticket master.

Can anyone confirm?
I saw that too. But that may have been for a VIP package where you get a ringside seat, a signed glove and something else
Sweet, most of those fellow travelers are furious team Ggg would suggest it.
No problem with 168, I'm guessing that's where they'll end up fighting, but not a good analogy at all, again. It would work if Ward offered to drop to 160 for A side Ggg. But he won't even do 164, but would go 160 for Floyd
Actually, its a very good analogy. Because it shows a willingness to fight a smaller guy and a reluctance to fight a bigger one.
As for Ward's "Floyd at 60" comments. They came after Floyd took some personal shots at Andre. No one took them seriously.
As for all this "GGG A-side" stuff. I don't care, I just wanna see them fight. GGG is not at a point in his career where its time to start screaming A-side and making diva demands. His resume is mediocre. His drawing power is still isn't where true A-siders like Floyd, Manny, and to a lesser degree Cotto and Canelo are. And to get there, he needs to fight some real opponents. And the realist is Ward. He knows it. His people know it. And the likelyhood of the hype train being derailed is high. Which is why they don't want it.

Well the smaller guy brings far more money and exposure, not eve same ballpark. Who doesn't wanna fight Floyd?
Ward is indeed a tough opponent, Ward never faced anyone near as good, much less a division up. Hell his best scalp is Froch, who didn't wanna chance it with Ggg with the weight and hometown advantage, something Ward has never conceded to a quality opponent.

Froch retired. That's what y'all fail to realize. GGG is chasing guys on the way out. Floyd, Froch, Cotto. Money aside. The fight that does the most for GGG as far as legitimizing the hype. And even though his career is just kinda getting started. The fight that does the most for his legacy is Ward. And he appears not to want it. And the sad thing is he's being applauded for not wanting it.

Really? Cause last I heard, the best light heavyweight in the world's next fight is in Russia. And the best light heavyweight in the world distinctly said a fight between he and Ward shouldn't be in Russia. It should be on American PPV.
So........?
And Golovkin's next fight is at MSG, against David Lemieux, on PPV, for the WBA, IBO and IBF world MW titles.

Ggg was chasing Froch for a year, at least since Frochs most glorious win before 80k at Wembley. Remember the infamous interview before Groves 2, "we'll swerve him if he can"
I'd say Ggg is doing pretty good career wise. He's top 5 p4p everywhere, HBO ppv, selling massive tickets. It's Ward who needs a boost. He could fight Kovalev, but says he's waiting on Ggg first. Same Winky Wright school of business that lead him to reject money fight in Stevenson, But, Froch in the UK etc
Why are some people so pathetic they spam every GGG thread with stuff that has nothing to do with the topic?
This thread is about a ticket sale record at MSG. It has nothing to do with your last glimmer of hope, Andre Bored. These guys probably hate Ward anyway because of his flat persona and his boring fights, but their racism towards GGG is just without limits so they root for the lesser evil.
I wonder if all that hatred and jaelousy withered their last couple brain funtions, for example the ability to read and grasp basic topics.
Go out, get laid, if you cant then at least jerk off or punch your wall, but this forum isnt good for you. GGG will just get bigger and more popular and it will just get worse for you. It has been funny for some time, but after so many months of reading the same trash by the same people, how desperate and pathetic can your life be?
