Comments Thread For: Golovkin-Lemieux Sets Pre-Sale Ticket Record at MSG

New York City - A new Madison Square Garden box office record has been set by the highly anticipated World Middleweight Championship Title Unification between WBA/IBO and “Interim” WBC Champion GENNADY “GGG” GOLOVKIN, (33-0, 30KO’s), and IBF Champion DAVID LEMIEUX (34-2, 31KO’s) headlining the historic venue on Saturday, October 17.

“This record-breaking pre-sale only confirms that this fight will be one of the most exciting of the year as the best meets the best for middleweight supremacy,” said Oscar De La Hoya, Chairman and CEO of Golden Boy Promotions.
I will be interested to see what Oscar's tag line for the Cotto - Canelo fight will be seeing as the 'battle for middleweight supremacy' will have already been fought and won by someone else.

These guys will actually fight and not run away like Floyd and Lara...

I don't think fight should be on PPV though..kind of ridiculous... Triple G is going to destroy Lemiuex but it'll be exciting while it lasts...

and the small tag line could be......
