Likewise, GGG offered to fight Froch and Chavez Jr at168. Andre Ward offers to meet him there. What's the problem???
Ward's last fight was at LHW. Kovalev has offered to fight meet him there. So what's the problem? Why is he pestering GGG instead of fighting Kovalev, like he said he would?

And even though his career is just kinda getting started. The fight that does the most for his legacy is Ward. And he appears not to want it. And the sad thing is he's being applauded for not wanting it.
If Ward wants Golovkin so bad he could be more like Hopkins was with Dela Hoya and Trinidad and come down for it.

“Me and Oscar talked briefly in March,” revealed Hopkins. “I told him we could do it two ways. We could do it at (Oscar’s) weight for his belts, or we could do it for my belts at 157. He corrected me. And said, No, we’ll do it for your belts at 158.”

Ward/Golovkin would be an awesome fight, but Ward's not carrying his own weight these days and that's a fact supported by him having to fight on a time buy, losing his promoter $2mill in front of a comp'd out arena.

He said he won't fight Kovalev until he's a 'true' LHW, but expects Golovkin to move up 8lbs giving up both size & speed and to bring the fans/money with him? Come on...
Why should Golovkin risk everything he's built for himself up to this point to bail out Andre Ward's fizzled out career? Golovkin can stay at 160lbs waiting for Alvarez to grow into a full MW while he fights Lemieux, Lee, T.Johnson, N'Dam, and possible PBC'ers for as much money as he might get fighting Ward (simply because Ward would demand so much of the purse).

For the cheapest unification at the garden ever.....
If you sell a ticket right now for a Gatti fight then you are the best sells man in the world

                Can anyone confirm?
When I was on the ticketmaster presale queue, I was first presented with 2nd row seats for $542 ($500 plus the fee) and I *****ed out and later would end up getting $200 seats not very far behind the media seats.

EDIT: The $2,500 was for a VIP Package which includes:
1 ringside seat (first 5 rows)
                1 glove signed by GGG
Access to the media press conference, media work-out and weigh-in and "VIP pre-event hospitality (8pm-10pm)" whatever that means.

                EDIT:

Hillarious people trying to compare prices from two different venues. But since sooooo many on here are acting like GGG is a bigger draw then Cotto, let's look at the numbers.

GGG vs Geale, attendance 8,572. At the more popular MSG.

Cotto vs Geale, attendance 12,157, at the less popular Barclays. And that's after Geale got knocked out by GGG.

Cotto sold out the garden 10 times. So basically when ever Cotto fights at the garden it's a sell out. That's not to take away from GGG but the reality is he hasn't even sold out the Garden once, so let's give Cotto the respect he deserves.

If any1 is seriously considering the popularity between GGG and Cotto in NY then they are delusional. Its obvious Cotto is more popular here. It doesnt take away the fact that GGG is building his own fanbase at a rapid pace one that Cotto could not even fathom. GGG is popular on the West, East, Monaco, you freaking name it.

                      Ah okay. I gotcha. Thanks.

I'm happy with my $200 seats. I'm in the same section I was for Geale-GGG and about 10 rows closer this time, and where I sat on the floor compared to where the $300 tickets are, isn't even much of a noticeable difference, IMO.
