I don't know why people in this forum treat GGG as a coward or exposed.

The man has said many times that he would like to fight Ward, and now his promoter stated how the fight could be made for the fall.(an please don't bring the video of golovkin saying "ward too much for me", because that is out of context and he said the same for curtis stevens)

I don't know how that can be a coward move, since Ward didn't do anything for the fight, other than pretend that he wanted the fight.

CW, yep, ***** move, but come on, tell your promoter to respond with a better deal, right away.

At least we will know if Ward will actually want the fight.

... Loeffler is only joking around the 'Zeitgeist' mantra of the 'catch weight'...

... It’s doubtful that a fight between Golovkin and Ward can happen any time soon though, because Golovkin is waiting to get (for instance) the winner of the November fight between Saul “Canelo” Alvarez and Miguel Cotto. Golovkin also is interested in fighting former IBF/WBA/WBC super middleweight champion Carl Froch, IBF champion David Lemieux and WBO champ Andy Lee. Those are all arguably bigger fights than Golovkin vs. Ward. Lemieux has a huge following in Canada, and Lee is really popular in Ireland. Ward isn’t a huge casual star in the United States. He’s got a hard core fanbase (of course), but he’s not at the actual level of those cited above even though he’s unbeaten and is a pound-for-pound top ranked fighter....

Actually Ward is the one to gain a lot from a hype or a fight against Golovkin right now -- because Ward is likely to win such a fight...

I was amazed this got so many responses. Then again nothing makes posters log on more than a good hypocrisy thread.

Loeffler's ****** joke clearly shows what hype means these days.

... ****** hyping does much more than 'traditional' hyping...

What makes you think he was joking? I didn't read every post so did I miss something?

Ahh so that's how we skirt around these type of issues. We pretend it was a "joke."
