I'm not being bias in anyway, 164lbs and 50/50 is fair to both fighters. They're meeting in the middle.

GGG is being more than fair

If ward ducks this than theres no excuse

Cotto canelo is for the middleweight title thats why it gets heat. If it was a regular fight no one woyld blink twice. Ggg is currently chasing big fish while ward has non by moving to a full 168 he is giving up hope if any at a floyd shot And risking not making catchweight in the high 150's for a canelo cotto match.

As a Golovkin fan I find this unacceptable. That's all I'm gonna say for now.

(Don't worry, Freedom. I didn't like the Floyd-Canelo catch weight either).

Did Andre Ward really only do 323k viewers on free tv for his last fight?

WTF should Golovkin give equal money to Ward at Ward's weight?
              lol

On a network that had never aired boxing, while competing directly against a notable fight in a primetime broadcast, on national TV.

              context is a mother****er

Ward should just move up. He should fight degale then jack/grooves winner, and then test the waters at 175 imo. GGG fight ain't happening.

Truth is, this is a "fair" offer. However, the fact that GGG said he would fight Chavez Jr. and Froch @ 168, makes GGG look scared of Ward's power. It's a PR problem, but the "50/50" is intriguing. If I'm Ward, I give him the 164, and counter with 60/40(Ward). Ward did beat Froch already, and GGG beat...well nobody.

For all the talk from K2 claiming that Golovkin is "clearly the bigger star", that's about the number that he would need to draw to justify the point, since Ward likely drew $750k at Oracle for the Smith fight (once a count gets disclosed).

I sincerely doubt that Golovkin-Monroe Jr did anywhere near $1m, therefore K2's 'A-side' talk is bull****.

threw the number out for effect

Don't try and meet in middle for ward but go all the way up for froch and Chavez jr they admitting fear asking for that when froch and Chavez bigger and stronger then ward
