Floyd will hardly be remembered or even cared for 10 years from now. How can you call yourself great and then fight the safest fight in the biggest stage of your career? Not to mention fighting guys way past their best and also avoiding other threats. Being great doesn't mean being undefeated. Being great is taking chances, going for glory and fighting the type of fights that will go down in history forever. All ATG legends have losses because they took chances and risks, but when those risks turn into victories is when people will talk about you forever. The world loves Manny more than Floyd because he took more chances and he took more risks to create history and become a legend. Floyd fought it safe and calculated for almost his entire career.

I would've liked to see the fight 5 years ago, if only for the fireworks.
factor in one hand, I say he had tons of heart, performing with the circumstance he had to deal with during the time.

Why he has shoulder rotator cuff injury is because of ring wars.. Yes it wasn't the best pac and the best floyd in there.

Wear and Tear took effect in the biggest stage of Pac's career. And that is why people want to watch greats in their prime.. Sadly this is what we got, and the worst thing happened.

We didnt see the best pac in there, and we didnt see the best Floyd either. 5 years too late, maybe 4 years was enough, that one year might have deteriorated pac greatly.

Could even be the 13x blood drawn from pac by usada had affected his health while training before the fight.. hence, he was prone to more injury.. So many ways to see how this fight failed.. Really wish we watched a fight were in they were both at there best and see who really deserves the w.

What we got was a fight that didnt really conclude anything.

nope, he fought with one hand. That changes the dynamics of how he can fight in the ring.

Pac had to readjust and play with one hand in there. That takes a lot of his game away. He was 50% pac in there.

That said, whats impressive is he still sparked Floyd from time to time and made it competitive, and to some say Pac even one it with one hand. Amazing stuff actually.

Why blame Mayweather when you watch him to lose or get hyped by those flashy 24/7 shows.

floyd is 38, years past his prime..you want him all of the sudden to turn into rocky balboa..pacquiao said floyd should've stood still so he could punch him.. this is what you respect? .. floyd turned the "buzzsaw" pacquiao into an ordinary sparring partner. .thats greatness no matter how much u refuse to acknowledge it

Floyd exposed himself as the coward he is. He was only interested in playing tag and putting Manny in a headlock every chance he could. Almost all of the world slammed Floyd for playing it safe. Everywhere you went on social media people criticized Floyd for fighting like a wuss. Talk of boxing being dead and how boring Floyd was everywhere. I highly doubt anyone will ever be interested in paying for another Floyd fight after is shameful performance.

Nah I'm a Floyd fan and to me it wasn't that exciting. Mayweather was really in "just win mode" more than usual. I still blame Manny more though because he is the one that fought far more out of character.

He was basically trying to counter punch and box Floyd. He's an underrated counter puncher, but compared to Floyd? Nope. His strengths are definitely in his intensity, pace and physicality and it just wasn't there.
