floyd simply doesn't try to hurt his opponent

Pac had to readjust and play with one hand in there. That takes a lot of his game away. He was 50% pac in there.

That said, whats impressive is he still sparked Floyd from time to time and made it competitive, and to some say Pac even one it with one hand. Amazing stuff actually.
that's speculative at best. first of all he did not tear his rotator cuff. if you knew anything about that injury, you would know that it prevents you from even raising your arm. he may have been injured but he threw enough wild right hooks that disproves a torn rotator cuff theory at least not a full tear. he stopped throwing the jab but whether it was due to the injury or a result of floyd jabbing over it or countering it with straight rights every time is open for debate. manny did not fight with 1 arm, he used both throughout the fight, he just couldnt find the range.

Talk of boxing being dead and how boring Floyd was everywhere. I highly doubt anyone will ever be interested in paying for another Floyd fight after is shameful performance.
        Lmao this fanboy still posts?

Pipe down, Toby. Mayweather was a heavy favourite for a reason, and not every c*nt who paid to watch is as emotionally invested in the Fl*mo-P*ctard war as spackers like you.

It was boring because most people don't enjoy watching a safety-first spoiler throw single digit punches every round. You do, but you're a grade-A bumsniff that lives vicariously though Mayweather.

All i can say is don't be dumb and take everything a boxer say literally.. Sorry bud, but your past your prime 38 year old fighter is what is is, a 38 year old fighter who fought a past prime fighter, who made a ton of money fighting a one armed man he couldn't even finish..

Pac having one arm and making it competitive speaks volumes of his courage and heart, can't say the same thing to Floyd though.

He should have took more chances made a bigger statement. Isn't that what you want from a guy who calls himself the best ever?? Where's the glory with just getting by with a boring win??? If you're in such control of a fight why not do what all ATGs do and finish strong?? Floyd's mentality is nowhere near ATG. He is just interested in playing tag and head locking his opponent every chance he gets. It takes two to fight. Manny wanted to fight and Floyd wanted to play tag.

He was basically trying to counter punch and box Floyd. He's an underrated counter puncher, but compared to Floyd? Nope. His strengths are definitely in his intensity, pace and physicality and it just wasn't there.
And the reason it wasnt there with Manny is because it was Floyd in front of him , not C grade Algieri or Rios , people need to give credit where it is due Manny was an ATG and shut down like so many of Floyds foes before him , its not a fluke Floyd IS that good .

I would've liked to see the fight 5 years ago, if only for the fireworks.
i dont think that's accurate. you can see he was trying in there but he just didnt know how to get to floyd cuz floyd was controlling the range. he was also very wary of counter shots as seen when he had floyd of the ropes and he waited quite a while to try to find an opening before even throwing a punch. then most of his flurry was blocked.

pacquiao wanted it, he just couldnt get there. same with canelo. no one can convince me that canelo didn't want to win that fight...but like him and reynoso said, once the match progressed, they simply didnt know how to get to floyd to land the punches that they needed to land.

Speculative? he had a doctor who ran an mri before the fight, He had Usada agreeing he can take pain reliever for his torn rotator cuffs, and had Kobe Bryants doctor do a surgery on him after the fight.

Dude, speculations is without proof as how uncle roger says Floyd has injured hands with no proof of a doctor saying it is so, while PAc had a paper trail of evidences he was injured before, during and after the fight.

It's the truth. Everywhere people criticized Floyd. How can someone call themselves TBE, better than Ali and Robinson, and then put on such a boring lackluster snoozefest performance???? Playing tag and head locking your opponent is the qualities of an ATG legend????? Hahahahahahaha give me a break. Trust me, 10 years from now no one (especially the general public) will care to be reminded of a guy who talked a lot about money, whined a lot and played it safe and calculated a lot. Only his most die hard fans and purist nerds will bring up that punk. Ali and Robinson will always be seen as much much much greater.
