Yea that pretty much sums it up manny had no offense that night. He did not throw enough punches Ricky hatton did better against Floyd. I was disappointed say what you want about Floyd but Manny Pacquiao didn't show up that night. We all knew what Floyd was going to do and if Manny did what he had to do the fight would've been exciting and anything could've happened. He wasn't going to out box Floyd he had to be aggressive to have any chance and he blew it.

THIS is what i cant understand about the upset half on this board: People who visit this site are clearly more knowledgeable about the boxing world than the average MvP ppv watcher that night and so virtually everyone here should know what Floyd was going to do. But yet you see posts about: "Floyd ran", or "chicken", or "hurt shoulder". Truly embarrassing for those who just can't admit that Floyd won; they so desperately wanted Floyd to lose that they only watched because they truly (and still) believe that Pacquiao was their savior (they bought into the media hype), and will not accept that Mayweather did once again to his competition what he normal does: neuter

Calling a Mayweather fight boring is par for the course. It's up to his opponent to take him out of (boring) comfort zone. In this case, Pacquiao could not. Mayweather does the same thing to all his opponent. He makes them fight his style of fight. Why any thought Pacquiao would be any different is beyond me.

I always find it funny when this fact is made it is ignored by other responders.

It didn't live up to the hype, it was impossible. All the people butt hurt because the majority thought this fight was boring need to take the stick out your ass. You can blame Floyd, you can blame Manny or whoever but fact is, it was not an entertaining fight.

Mayweather fights are rarely exciting and Manny didn't bring it. Thats why we got what we got.

I enjoyed many aspects of the fight. It was a high speed chess match between the two best fighters in quite some time. You'll have to be able to cut off the ring and be physically imposing to force Mayweather into a more crowd pleasing fight (a jab would help as well). If not, he will outmaneuver and pot shot you all night.

Ricky Hatton, Marcos Maidana, Victor Ortiz, Demarcus Corley, Jose Luis Castillo, Jesus Chavez, Emannuel Augustus... all guys who to varying degrees made EXCITING fights with Floyd. They were able to test him in different ways, force him to adjust, and make the fight exciting.

Pacquiao could not. He made it a stink fest because he just wasn't good enough. He was a Carlos Baldomir. Nothing more.

I said that would happen 6 years ago.

And so did a lot of other people, most insiders/trainers/fighters picked it.

Pacs latest comment, that Mayweather is a runner..... is absolutely ridiculous.

Pac is lookin real ****** for saying that.
