just coming from a W or a L doesn't mean much. if around the same time for a fighter.
pac coming from a loss to morales 2006 is same guy coming from a win ove barrera 2007.
Coming off a big win is not the same as coming off a big loss and a draw no matter how you try to spin it.

"WHAT YOU MEAN?"
my favorite part of the video:
Why fight JMM and not the reigning ww champ mosley?
"who mosley? The guy that got 5 losses? JMM is a bigger draw that mosley. He has a whole country behind him"
and then people wonder why he mostly fights hispanic/spanish fighters on cinco de mayo weekend.

most losses hurt. some dont.
a loss (IF COMPETITIVE) is worth more than a win over a lesser fighter.
my example JMM4 vs. algieri
losing in a FOTY to an hofer like jmm is worth more than waxing a scrub like algieri.
30 yrs from now ppl will remember that great fight. even an L.
next year i'll forget pac even fought algieri.
That loss to JMM hurt, the win over Algieiri did nothing for Manny.
Again, you want to use the name JMM but are kind of disregarding the fact he was a huge underdog in these fights. Manny was seen as the better fighter and was supposed to win.
The draw after having a 4 point lead after round 1 can not be a positive for his resume. Isn't that a choke, for lack of a better term?
Maybe the better question is how much does a loss to an underdog hurt one's resume vs how much does aan easy win elevate ones resume?
