Haymon should let Broner have one of those spinner championship belts like John Cena did to the WWE Championship belt.

Nfl, NBA, wwe, etc consistsntly pay top dollar year after year, decade after decade..
And even before PBC and his 100 million war chest, Haymon was getting top dollar for his fighters
The problem with big-budget multi-million dollar boxing events being funded by advertisers is that the advertising revenue is not guaranteed. Pretty much every other sport can count on their event lasting a certain amount of time, and can sell commercial spots accordingly. The reality of boxing events (and what seperates boxing from other sports) is that it can be over in the first 3 minutes, which makes advertising dollars speculative at best...........Last edited by OnePunch; 04-06-2015, 11:06 PM.

If they don't land a TV deal like UFC has, then your absolutely correct, and it won't be sustainable long term

I just have my doubt as to whether or not he can get the ratings up to a high enough number for the networks to want to write a check. Right now the networks are making Al do the heavy lifting, and it will take some SERIOUS consistant ratings to change that mentality.........

I think year 1 he will introduce his guys like garcia, adonis, thurman, quillen in decent fights
But by year 2 he probably will need strong ratings and will really make the fights fans want to see..
I think they need to get ghost/thurman 3 mil+ viewers as their bottom range by the time 2 years has lapsed.. If they can average those numbers or higher and show growth over 24 months, I think Haymon will score his deal..

And besides, if all things equal, Haymon charges less than other promoters.. He isn't ripping off fighters like other promoters
