Official Floyd Mayweather- Manny Pacquiao Postfight aftermath discussion

I was in attendance for Mayweather-Mosley, I wasn't shocked when he hurt Floyd because I knew Mosley was dangerous early while Floyd makes his adjustments, but I was calm and not worried at all (my friend however was very frantic and worried) as I knew that Floyd would survive and then go on to dominate once he made the right adjustments, I wouldn't have been shocked if he went down, that fight went exactly how I predicted.

When Marquez dropped Pacquaio I was very shocked, because across the 3 fights he landed some very flush hard shots and never came close to dropping him, Marquez dropping Pacquaio was something I didn't expect at all.

I wouldn't be surprised if Pacquaio gave Floyd a flash knock down early in their fight, whereas I'd be shocked if Floyd dropped Pacquaio.

I see Floyd being too conservative and having too much respect for Pacquiao to really go after him when he catches him off balance the way guys like Morales and Marquez did.

The only thing I'd worry about is the status of Pac's chin. The brain is more likely to shut down certain activities upon receiving trauma and they've matched Pac with with guys who either maul or simply lack the ability to really load up on single shots.

Question to my Floyd fans, how did you react when Floyd got cracked by Mosley in the 2nd? How did my Manny fans react when JMM actually knocked Pac down (not the KO the KD) for the first time in 4 fights. I was just thinking how each fanbase would react if their fighter went down in this megabout.

I couldn't have been more shocked that Marquez knocked Pac down, especially with that shot. I'd see Marquez land that shot, or harder dozens of times on Pac. He'd never even been wobbled besides a rocket of a left hook while Pac was in mid-air.

I don't worry about Pac hitting the canvas in general, though. He doesn't care about that. Just look at how he answered the Marquez KD.
