Guys check out malignaggi's analysis on pac-mayweather 6 years ago. LOL it's crazy how much he hates pac now. It really is jealousy IMO.

“Ever since I watch Floyd Mayweather he gives you a defense where he locks up. And a lot of the time obviously it works for Floyd. Floyd is very hard to hit, regardless of the fact. But I always thought that somebody with fast hands – that throws punches in bunches and throws them in flurries – might not land on Floyd – because he locks up so well – he has the ability to leave Floyd there.”

Malignaggi’s analysis starts to fascinate. “And what I mean by that is, move your hands, step out, you leave him there. Throw punches, step out. Before you know it, Floyd, if he’s giving you all this, he never gets the chance to get back off. Because you’re in and out. And that costs you rounds. Through the course of Mayweather’s career, he’s always been faster than most of his opponents. But the fast guys that he did fight did show glimpses of it. Oscar showed glimpses of that. Zab Judah showed glimpses of that – that you can do that to Floyd. The problem is you very rarely will hit him clean. So I think these guys get frustrated and get away from that. But in the meantime, what they don’t realize is that they’re probably winning rounds because Floyd is not getting off. Pacquiao doesn’t have to change anything about himself. He fights that way naturally.”

Manny's output drops against guys who can move and box.
everyone's output drops against Floyd so he must be doing ok with the pot shotting. It's hard to throw a lot when every you try to let off a combo you get caught cleanly in between... You'll see though.
I was laughing because you were just proving you are one of those people. If it's good for my guy I believe it, if it's negative it's not true. That's why I don't even pay attention, it's all BS.
This ain't Ortiz or Guerrero, Pac ain't getting gun shy. He's going to be thrown all night long and Floyd's couple clean counters a round ain't doing shat.
Can't wait till May 2, it's going to be better than when Maidana kicked the shat out of Broner.

Too bad the majority on this site disagrees with you lol. I guess that HD stream of yours was distorted by the Pacquiao nut sack obstructing your view.

The result of Pacquiao-Marquez III was seen as the ***8220;Robbery of the Year***8221; by 43 percent of the fans who voted in this year***8217;s ******.com readers***8217; choice year-end award poll. Press row disagreed with the official verdict. In a poll of 20 ringside boxing writers conducted by Golden Boy Promotions publicist Bill Caplan, 12 thought that Marquez won the bout, seven scored it a draw, while only one had it for Pacquiao (by one point).

Retired veteran judge Chuck Giampa, who scored the bout 116-112 for Marquez, stated that ***8220;Marquez controlled the majority of rounds with effective aggression AND ring generalship,***8221; in his You Be the Judge column in the February issue of THE RING.

***8220;I believe (Harold) Lederman (HBO***8217;s unofficial judge commentator who scored the bout 116-112 for Pacquiao) and the three judges did not give Marquez enough credit for his effecive counter punching. why are there no Judges from the press?

why are there no judges from NSB posters?

right, because they are better than the judges NSAC hires.

Those NSAC judges sure did a good job in Pacquiao vs Bradley 1 too right?

Stop talking out of your ass.
Real simple .. Pull up his computer box against ODLH,COTTO,MARGO,CLOTTEY ... and pull up the same against Bradley 1st fight, Marauez 3rd fight, Morales 1st fight... Average the numbers out and you'll get your answer ... I won't do the leg work for you because it means nothing to me if I'm right when it comes to boxing against someone like you ... Because I always will be.

when people use the press as a benchmark.

does all the press people all equal, meaning a veteran boxing writer has 1 vote and an amateur boxing writer has 1 vote too?

                      boxing columnist/writer/etc 20 yrs covering boxing vote = 1
                      boxing columnist/writer/etc 3 yrs covering boxing vote = 1

                      so that when 10

boxing columnist/writer/etc who watched the fight, 6 of them gave the nod to boxer A and 4 gave the nod to boxer B this you considered majority of the press?

disregarding that the 4 boxing columnist/writer/etc have 20 yrs covering boxing, while those 6 boxing columnist/writer/etc have 3 yrs covering boxing?

you know the point i am trying to drive at just want clarification about "majority of the press" stuff

how many amateur boxing writer/columnist/etc. is/are equal to 1 veteran boxing writer/columnist/etc.?
