Keep constantly pawing/measure the lead hand on Manny's face all night. It will not only momentarily stop Manny's forward aggression and nullify his offense, but he will have to adjust trying to move his way on the inside of your lead hand to set up his lead straight left or 1-2-1 offense which you can completely nullify the attack and make him miss if you use the lead hand to anticipate/measure his aggression. Keep that lead hand up on his head like a laser target wherever he tries to move. He'll either back up in a straight line, get frustrated and try to rush through it or try to use his footwork move on the inside of your lead hand if you let him slip his head away from the lead hand and give him the leverage to penetrate through your defense. That lead hand is both your offense and defense.
This is how you make your reach advantage count against a smaller/shorter fighter. The more you keep your lead hand close to his face, the much harder times he'll have at setting up his offense and get frustrated by resorting to ambush/lunging attacks, which you can totally anticipate/measure with that same lead hand. Watch how Rigondeaux used his lead hand to anticipate/measure oncoming attacks. An orthodox fighter can do the same thing with his lead hand.

He not only nullified Manny's forward aggression altogether, but made him paid by simply stepping out of his punching range and set up his own counter punches that caught Manny on the way in.
In Floyd's case, the only thing he did right was that he used his lead hand to anticipated the attack the same way Marquez did, but he still stood there flat-footed with his chin up and took the straight left flush on his face.
Floyd could've simply do this in that gif against Corley:
or
Do what Marquez did by simply stepping out of range and make the whole 1-2 attack miss altogether, but he chose to stood there and tried to rolled with the straight left hand with his chin up in the air. This type of mistake cannot be repeated against, Manny. Manny is going to look to set up their straight left all night. He'll throw the lead left or set up the 1-2-1. Floyd needs to be very defensively responsible and make the right defensive adjustments. The lead hand can be used a a warning system. As soon as your opponent tries to parry it down to get through with his own lead hand or trying to move on the inside of your lead hand to sneak in a lead straight left or 1-2 attack. You simply have three legit options.
1.) Side step out of range and make him miss altogether.
2.) Duck your head under to slip under the straight left.
3.) Standstill right in front of your opponent with your head/chin up and eat a straight left.
After all these sparring sessions against southpaws, i don't understand how a defensively responsible fighter like Floyd can afford to want to repeat option #3.
Floyd counter most of the time with with either straight right or left or pull counter just single punch counter rarely a combination

I don't want to see Floyd constantly stand in the center of the ring with his lead hand drop down by his waist like this and try to anticipate an oncoming attack. He's not in his prime anymore. He needs to stop relying heavily on his reflexes to anticipate oncoming attacks. His lead hand measure tactic is very effective, he just need to rely on it a bit more than his reflexes especially against a shorter fighter like Manny who has uncanny/unorthodox type of attacking rhythm.
Mosley had nothing to worried about getting through Floyd's stance in this gif. Floyd got ****y and tried to relied on his reflexes with his lead hand down by his waist and paid the price. Now just imagine if Floyd had kept his lead hand up in front of Mosley's face and measured the distance with it. Mosley wouldn't have been able to easily feinted downstairs with his the jab and rushed through with a straight right hand upstairs because Floyd's lead hand would've nullified his frontal vision from setting up that feint downstairs. He would've to tried to bypass Floyd's lead hand and his sudden forward aggression/movement would've instantly alerted Floyd of the oncoming right hand upstairs, and in which case, it'd be up to Floyd to be defensively responsible to react in time and step back out of range or stand there or get caught flush with the right hand upstairs.
I also don't want to see Floyd backing up on the ropes with his lead hand down by his waist.
Look how easily Maidana penetrated through Floyd's guard and crowded him on the ropes. Again lead hand down by his waist and instantly gave Maidana the leverage to easily walked through him.

That's why one fan base already has their excuses lined up.
